Still here...still pregnant.

So mad right now. I'm home the hospital was VERY busy and my amnio was borderline so I'm at home on my couch still pregnant...and sad. They are sending the amnio off to the U of M for further testing and will get the "final" report later today, but the doctor said that now the hospital is too busy and I will have to wait until Saturday! URG.

I'm so fed up right now. My husband is home and not getting pd I'm home and not getting paid and I need to pay $200 for a sitter and now find a sitter for this weekend! Growl. Sorry ladies just bummed right now. I'll update when I hear...I'm also a little sad that I'm full term and his lungs are "possibly" developed. I hope everything is ok but I was really looking forward to having this baby today and now I wait. BTW I found the amnio painful...my stomach still aches but they did it up by my rib cage.

Mercy in Coon Rapids. I did get a message from the dr. he said that baby's lungs are fully developed that they are just swamped. I can call tomorrow morning at 8 am but if they are full I am on the schedule for Saturday at 8am. What a pain.

OMG you poor thing!! That would **** me off! What hospital are you delivering at?? I had my first son at United in St.Paul and loved it there and my last 3 children at HCMC and loved it too. I have heard of some hospitals , like Fairview and Abbott turning woman in labor away because they are too full, I would snap if that happened, lol. When do you find out more about when your getting induced?? I thought for sure you would be holding your little one by now:( Keep us updated!

Oh no I'm sorry you have to wait! When I went in last week the first time and thought I was having the baby only to be sent home I was going nuts. I can't imagine having a scheduled delivery on the books and being turned away. Oh I would be fuming also!

I'll give you the same advice the labor and delivery nurses gave me last week... drink a glass of wine and take a warm bath. It just seems to melt away your stress.
