Hi ladies,


I am 13 weeks pregnant and had one regular coke in my 8th week...I am craving coke sooooo bad ...is it okay to drink one?If I drink one, is it going to harm my baby?

if people can smoke cigarettes their entire pregnancy, I'm sure one coke isn't going to hurt your baby! :)  Set a limit for yourself, have one a few times a week or so, and you and your baby will be just fine.
(p.s. that was not an "ok" to smoke cigarettes though!)

I had a coke today as well. That was the third one I've had in 16 weeks, not bad! I'm prone to migraines too and the caffeine seems to help me out a little in addition to Tylenol, over a couple days if the headache doesn't go away.  I think if it's not a major habit, or anything you do is in excess (even a certain kind of tea or something), than it's okay in serious moderation.  And honestly after that coke I've had a very good afternoon, instead of falling asleep I got some actual concentrated work done. Lol!

My doc told me that it was ok to have 2 caffeine beverages a day. I used to always drink soda but was relieved when she told me I still could but only two servings a day. When I stopped completely I had horrible caffeine headaches.
