WeLl my hubby wants to name our boy David and I want Ellis. I'm compromising because David has sentimental meaning and Ellis is just a name I like.
For us we had a baby girl name picked right away, and no boy. Luckily she is a girl, her name will be Ashlynn Reese.
For me it was between Taylor and Isabella, and Taylor was just taken by a family member (they didnt know). So it's Isabella Marie, which yes is common but to us it has meaning :)
We have decided since the day we found out we are having a baby girl that her name will be Sapphire Norma-Jean.I like uncommon names,my other children's names are Kara,Summer-Lacey and Shohn. My grand daughters have uncommon names as well,Dayshana,Leilani and Melody-Ann.Also my name is Erina which is becoming popular here in New Zealand.
We've decided on Liam Jude. Liam because I love the name and Jude after my mother (Judy) who passed away 2 years ago. With my first baby, Emily, I changed her name from Kimberly about a week before she was born. With my second baby, Kevin, we thought he was a girl until an U/S 5 days before he was born so we had to think fast. He was Abigail until then. But with my third, Sam and this one, I knew right away what names I wanted.
I chose Sarinitee Kathryn Levae for my daughters name, we have been calling the baby Sarinitee since before I found out it was girl, it was almost like we knew what it was. I like that every part of it has meaning. Sarinitee (Sar- for my favorite aunt who past away two weeks before I found out i was pregnant; the rest of the spelling is similar to my other daughter Destinee.) Kathryn (for my grandmother who past away before I was born her middle name was katherine but I chose a more modern spelling) and Levae (a version of her fathers middle name Levar). Unfortunately she will also have two last names, mine and his, so she will have a long name. Although my other daughter also has 5 names and she doesn't have a problem with it so Im sure the new baby will be fine. My other daughters name is Destinee Eva Alexis. Her has means similar to the new baby's (a grandmother, fathers middle name)
feather2e - i thought i chose a unique name, I think you got me beat. But I like that name its pretty.
We are naming our baby boy Noah. We don't have a middle name and I don't think we'll even come up with one. We love it just like that 'Noah'
Now, whenever the family talks about him, they go by 'Noah' instead of 'the kid' or 'the baby' or 'the child'. They just call him Noah and I love that!
We are naming our little girl Saoirse(pronounced seer-sha). we havent decided on a middle name yet.
I don't really even have anything narrowed down, I have a few I like, but I am not sure if i want them or not! I need to get a few good baby name books! i had a good one in my last pregnancy, but it got left when we moved!
