has anyone else had low progesterone level but normal hcg levels?

i just got my hcg levels and at 5 weeks it is in the high 4000's but my prog level is at 11. My doc doesn't seem to be nervous or worried but i am.  i am worried bc when they tested me last mon my hcg was at 203 and the prog was at 12 the hcg is raising like it should which is wonderful but the progesterone went down one. I stress over everything. I hope all is ok. What is everyone elses hcg levels at 5 weeks? and if you know your prog what was that at 5 weeks?

I was told by my Dr that progesterone levels from 10-40 are normal. I am on a progesteron supplement b/c I have had 2 m/c in the past year, but they are only doing that as a precautionary approach. There are some over the counter progesterone supplements that you can take, if you are worried about it. I've heard of a cream and I believe there are some natural remedies you can take too. Try googling it.

no longer worried about progesterone. my doc never offered the prog level and is not worried at all about my levels being 12 at 5 weeks. my hcg levels were in the  4000's on mon then the 10,000s on thurs so he feels safe and happy with the way things r progressing. i have tons of faith in god so i am no longer going to stress abotu everything. what is meant to be will be. i can only take care of my self the best i can and let God do the rest!!  i have a doc apt on the 22nd. and at that time i will schedule an ultrasound which i could of done already but i want to see my angels heart beat so thats why i waited. ok ttysoon  i hope all is well God bless

Ok, typo.  My levels were at 4w2d, so they may be just a bit off of what you are having.

my hcg levels r great for 5 weeks 1 day they r 4395 but like i said the prog was 11. they didnt offer the prog level i asked. i asked the girl who took my blood what the second vile was for and she told me so when i called for results i asked about the prog as well.  she only was going to tell me about the hcg so im taking that as a sign not to worry. she also told me not to worry an that the doc didnt seem to be concerned. in all honesty i didnt know my levels with my first 2 boys bc they were not high risk preg. this preg is being watched due to the medications i am on and that i suffer from anxiety, depression and bi polar 2. its so nice to have people to share my thoughts and concerns with.  I have faith in God that if this baby is meant to come into the world then he or she will be. infact if i have a girl i already named her faith. I named her 2 yrs ago i just have been waiting for her...  not so sure if i will have a girl. i have 2 boys and kinda feel the same as i did with them. only dif is i have cravings. i did the chinese calender thing and it said girl but i dont buy into that and i was going to get that intellagender but i seen many mixed reviews. i am just praying for a HEALTHY baby

Hi Melissa-

I just asked my OB's office today if my progesterone level of 16 was too low, as I had been reading on the internet that 20 (or even 25) was ideal.  They told me not to pay attention to the internet (easier said than done), that based on their reference labs that anything above 10 was good.

I was 16 at 5w2d.  (my HCG was 406)

I need to be with you on the 'don't worry' plan :)  We'll make it through!
