fetal movement questions?

to all the second time moms/knowledgable people out there, i have a few questions

I am 12w1d and i know it is too early to feel anything yet, but i am super excited to start feeling my lil babe! So i have two questions:

When did you first feel fetal movement?

How did you tell it was fetal movement you felt and not just a simple twinge or muscle twitch?

thanks :D

I felt my first babe move at 18 weeks then constantly from then on.. You will know for sure when its him / her kicking ,its hard to explain .. but its the most amazing thing! Cant wait to feel mine kick too.. theres so much waiting invovled in pregnancy can suck at times but good things do take time.. best of luck to you , your new babe and family.. :-)

I felt movement for the first time around 16 weeks with my DD, but you couldn't feel from the outside till i was almost 22 weeks. It does feel like a gas bubble early on. Even after I had my DD I would get a little gas bubble and think "aww feels like a baby moving"!

thanks for the comment. I just wonder because i every now and then have these little muscle spasms/twitchs. they dont hurt or anything, just a nerve kinda like pulsating for a sec. This is my first pregnancy and am excited about feeling my baby, but worried i wont realize that i am lol
