spelling

So my husband and i changed our daughters name from Lillian Marie to Lillianna Marie but i cant decide whether to spell it with one "n" or two. Its not a big deal but kind of makes me wonder other peoples opinions on it. The name is a secret so i cant really ask any friends or family on the spelling.

I want her name pronounced as "ahna". I have a friend (the only other one that knows the name other than my husband) that said she loves the name but likes the other speliing with two N's. I think it looks prettier but hate that it would get pronounced like "anna". And i know im going to do the double L because i like Lilly for short rather than Lily. I feel as if it looks prettier. So i think i might do Lilliana unless anyone can think of any other spellings?

I like that name. Are you going to call her Lillan for short? Everyone that i know with an Anna at the end of their name drops the Anna when they get older...I guess it wouldn't matter..

I think it'll depend on how you want to pronounce her name (which I think is a very beautiful one by the way).  If it were me I'd spell it with one N if it's to sound like "Lily- AHNA" and two Ns if you want it to be "Lily- ANNA".
