Spotting and Cramping at 5 weeks.

I am 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I spotted once two days ago & then nothing yesterday. Today, I spotted the same amount. This was bright red blood accompanied by slight cramping. It feels like stretching more than period like pains. ( The stretching feeling is constant.)  I have also had pain in my right arm and now my left shoulder blade. I haven't had any actual pregnancy symptoms besides sore breasts and what I've mentioned above. I was just curious if you thought there was a chance I may be experiencing an ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage. Also, this is my second pregnancy. I know I'm probably just over reacting, but my first pregnancy went so smoothly, this one has me on edge.. and it's only the beginning.

Also, this is my first post on here, so if there are other posts related to this same topic.. links would be wonderful.

I would ask your ob, I did that my last pregnancy, except if you were having a miscarriage it was darker clottier blood for me. Usually your ob will ask if you have had intercorse within the past 24 hours and if not they will want to check just to make sure. But some people can spot the whole pregnancy! Some people even have normal periods through pregnancy!
