It depends what you did before falling pregnant. Mostly it's said that you can continue to exercise to the same intensity you did prior to pregnancy. I've been doing pole fitness for six years and am an instructor, I haven't changed my exercise regime at all. On my days off instructing I do about an hour kn thw treadmill and stretch. Everyone is different though.
Swimming and light walking was the only things my doctor allowed me to do and I'm at 7wks 3 days
I am approved to do walking, stairs, cycle, and light weight lifting while maintaining my heart rate at 140 bpm. Every doctor is different in what they will approve you to do. I agree planks are great too!
Hi! I think I'm 9 or 10 weeks along, and I still do the same exercises that I did pre-pregnant, but I got my nurse's approval first. I do Orange Theory fitness 2 times a week (minus crunches), walk and run a few times as well. I was nervous at first, so I got a heartrate monitor to use while running. I've found it helps with energy and minimizing symptoms. Routine is mainly: rowing machine, squats, treadmill intervals, light weights, and planks. I highly recommend planks!
