Hard stomach!?

I'm 38weeks, lately my stomach been hard as a rock and hurts sometimes. What does that mean?

My belly feels sore all over but no numbness. Getting more and more uncomfortable :/ 38+4

Yes, normal. As i said, my belly is permanently hard atm... The pain i don't know, if i have some pain it is usually in the lower regions for me. But your muscles are tightened and cramped, i guess that can be a bit painful anywhere.

Question tho: anyone else's skin numb around your bellybutton? I don't feel it when my run my fingers over my skin around there.

Same thing is happening to me. And I have pains in top part of tummy.. Its normal for it to stay this way for 20 min or more??

My gyn said it is some form of practice contractions. My belly has been in a perma hard state past few days. We're getting closer... the 'getting closer' and 'any moment now's seem to take up some time for many tho lol

Sounds like a combination of braxton hicks and baby pressing up against your uterine wall.

My doctor told me that its normal, its just means your getting closer and its your body getting ready.
