Induced tomorrow

Well went for my appointment today and had high blood pressure once again. She checked me and said I'm dilated 1 cm and my cervix is soft. Since my blood pressure got worse they are inducing me tomorrow. Super nervous. Don't really know what to expect this is my first pregnancy. Any advice is gladly welcome ! BTW I'm 38 weeks tomorrow. Good luck to the rest of the august mom's and babies!!!!!

Update!  Baby Brantley is here. Born august 9th 2015 at 158am. 6lbs 0.6 oz. Oh my I've never loved something so much in my life!  They came in just a little while later around 9 and said we are ready to start pushing. I pushed for almost 3 hours. I felt like giving up so many times but I made it! I never thought I could go through something like that. Good luck to the rest of you ladies on your baby journeys I wish you all the very best!

Sorry guys been a rough night/day. Last night when they checked me at 8 I still hadn't dilated. So they used cervadil the 12 hour pill. They gave me pain medicine through iv last night to help with contractions and it was wonderful to relax and sleep for awhile. At non they took out the pill and checked me I still only dilated a half a cm. So they let me shower and then they started pitocin. Oh my. The contractions starting coming frequent and very strong. A few hours later I was at 2cm and they broke my water. About an hour later I got my epidural. Wouldn't be able to type this if I didn't get the epidural. It was less painful than the contractions I was having and well worth it. They just came and checked me and I am 5cm! Making slow progress which makes me very happy. Going to try and relax for awhile since I'm able. Will update when more happens!

Hang in there momma...I went thru he same thing for my baby. I was 38 weeks 1 day on Sunday August 2. I was given a pill a night before to thin out my cervix and I started having contraction almost immediately 1-2 minutes apart. They gave me pain medication to reduce the pain. It definitely helped. Next morning, I was induction and I had my baby in he afternoon. A big thanks to the person how created epidural (just saying). Good luck!

They put another pill in at 4. Will be checked again at 8. Having contractions a minute to 2 minutes apart. Very strong. This is tough. I am on a clear liquid diet and haven't eaten anything but jello today. My stomach is eating itself. Ugh.
