Self control!

We just left my 20 week ultrasound and man was that hard to resist finding out the gender! It's going to be a long 4 months not knowing if I've got a little prince or princess in there! But I know it will be worth it on the day I deliver when I get to hear the doctor say "its a ___!" Whatever the gender, this baby was a super wiggly little thing! Guess I shouldn't have had that fruit smoothie for breakfast :)

Thanks for the comments ladies, i enjoy reading other's stories! I especially thought the twins idea was neat to only find out one, at least you still get a suprise for the other!

I guess I left out the part about how this is my third baby and my previous two are a boy and a girl lol. So don't give me too much credit for not finding out because I don't have a preference either way. My significant other deserves the praise; he and i have a little girl together and my older son is from my previous relationship. So I know he would love a boy of his own but to be honest I wouldn't mind another girl because they are so fun and sweet and adorable when you dress them up.

Good luck to all of you and your deliveries of your precious little ones this August :)

I had my scan the other  day and the tech was like you wanna know what you're having. I really wanted to wait for when the baby was born but since everyone else was so bent on knowing, since I am having twins I decided to find out gender of one and not the other. I do know for sure one is a girl, and I plan on waiting for the birth to find out the other. Good luck to all.

My husband and I were going to do the same thing.... But when they told us to look away, we couldn't.  We found out we were having a little girl.  I'm so glad we know, but deep down, part of me really wishes we waited for that surprise.  Kudos to you for being strong!

I know right? My doctor asked me if I wanted to know and it was so hard for me to say no I want it to be a surprise... A lot of self control...

Right there with you Rachel, we had our 20 week scan today too. And we aren't finding out either. I'm so excited for the birth to find out and not really focused on any fears about childbirth. I'm glad your baby was active I'm sure that's reassuring!
