If they called her Scar for short, that is just not too pleasant.
I love the name Scarlett u can call her scar for short and if u would name her peyton my cuzin has the same name and we call her pay pay for short
I'm actually warming to Peytie Grace. lol
My neice is Scarlett MacKenzie River, we call her Scarlett. I'm sure as she goes thru school someone will nick name.her something else though.
I think Scarlet sounds better with Grace than Peyton. :)
I like Scarlet. I know someone named Padyn and the only way I've heard her name shortened was "Paid".
I like Scarlet, sounds beautiful and dramatic at the same time. And a nickname doesn't need to be based on their name anyway, can be based on charcter, look, a funny experience...
For a nick name sake I think pey for Peyton could be cute but personally think scarlet grace sounds cuter put together
Now that I think of it, someone might use "Paytie." That's not bad, really.
I would consider turning it around and using Grace as the first name and Peyton or Scarlett as the middle name. She could then choose to go by her middle name (Peyton or Scarlett) when she gets past the age of nicknames. You'll want a nickname (or her friends, or other adults, will) when she is a baby and in preschool and elementary school, it just happens naturally. Pay does not sound like much, or Payie, and Scar just does not sound great at all. (I guess people might settle on Lettie, but at that point it is so different than Scarlett that you may as well have named her something else. lol) Kids get nicknames. You're ahead of the game if you manage it.
What about Scarlett Rose! Or Peyton Rose..... I also like Sunday Rose.... But I like Scarlett Grace if you want to stick to your list.
