Having contractions every 15 mins for 4 hours, is it braxton hicks or the real thing?

finally stopped, but had no idea they could last that long, that was the most painful fake contractions I have had so far.

Yeah you'll know if your having real contractions the pain will most likely be unbearable on and off

Braxton hicks is were ur whole tummy gets hard and  uncomfortable contractions are more of a period pain that gets stronger and closer together with pain starting in ur back moving to the front or vice versa.  If u hope in the shower and it doesn't go away most likely the real thing.

Are you in pain or just feel uncomfortable?  If its the real thing you should be in pain and your contractions should be getting closer
