Update on aggressive ultrasound tech.....

Today I had another scan but this time I brought my mom and the tech was COMPLETELY different! She didn't shake my belly not one time, despite my baby facing more toward my back, which normally she would to try to get her to change positions so she can get a pic! She only poked my belly gently and had me try laying on different sides and even APPOLOGIZED for poking my belly the one time she did! I was thinking in my head "what an act!" considering the several times before that she had  vigorously shaken my belly! So I realized that she obviously knew that it wasn't appropriate since she didn't want to do it in front of my mom and go figure the pics that she got today my baby actually looked peaceful and not angry like all the other pics I've gotten! This makes me pretty mad that she was doing that to me and knowing it wasn't right or necessary! I'm thinking about filing a serious complaint!

Maybe it's something you should confront her about face to face.

Wow! It's good that she didn't do it again. I'm wondering if it's cuz yr mom was there or if someone else complained about her since so she knew she couldn't do it anymore. I would wait till next time and see if she does do it and say something at that time if she does AND tell the Dr as well. My ultrasound tecgs have never done that to me and always apologize if they r pushing too hard. I'm high risk so I've had many and many diff ppl as well. I hope she doesn't do it again to u or anyone else!!
