I'll be traveling soon, too. My doctor said, plane or car, just make sure you're getting up and stretching every 1-2 hours, even if you're feeling fine, because anything longer than that can encourage blood clots and discomfort. And to have an idea of hospitals every step of the way just in case.
Take a medical record with you incase something happens, we went to Jekyll Island on spring break. It's only a 4 hour drive and my midwife gave me one. At the time I was only 21 weeks.
You can ride 8 hours just fine at 32 weeks - I'm moving across the country and considered driving at 30 weeks and my doctor said it would be fine so long as I got plenty of stretching breaks. (And flying is okay up until 36 weeks with most airlines, just FYI). Go on the trip and have fun and don't worry! :)
I know there's no flying that late in the pregnancy idk about long car trips, but I'm currently living about an hour from destin, and there are good hospitals in the area and a good NICU in pensicola
