Scientifically...no...during a lunar eclipse the sun's light is blocked from reaching the moon by another planet...when it looks red it is reflecting light from the earth however it is weaker and the blue thru green wavelengths (255nm-532nm) are blocked in the atmosphere only leaving the red range of the spectrum visible to your eye
In my SO culture it is harmful for the baby if we go out during an eclipse (he is Navajo) they say that the baby will have a birth defect or birth mark if either of us go outside during it.
I heard something like that, I'm curious to find out too...
