I'm choosing all natural. I will be laboring mostly at home. Also I want no epideral or pain medications. I have a doula on the team to help me cope with the pain and she is helping me with my decisions so I know when to say no to something that will take away my hopes for a vaginally deliver. I'm doing a VBAC (vaginally birth after csection)

I plan to try and labor mostly at home  (unless my gbs comes back positive in which case I'd rather be at the hospital to get the antibiotics) I want to try and avoid the epidural but if my labor lasts longer than 24 hours I will probably get it. I don't want pitocin. I want to avoid any medical intervention unless absolutely necessary (no vaccuum,  forceps, etc) I don't want to be attached to the belly monitors the entire time. I want to be the one to cut the umbilical cord. I want to donate the blood from the cord and placenta. I don't want more nurses than absolutely necessary (during my last delivery I was the only woman in labor at the time so when it came time to push I had a doctor and five nurses with me because they were bored and that was too many voices to listen to) I don't want the shot to speed up the third stage.
(And added just for the funny - I don't want orange jello! When I was there last all I was allowed to eat was jello and my mom asked 'what flavor do you not want?' And I said 'I'll eat anything but orange' she came back and her face was red and she was trying to not to laugh and said 'you have two options, orange, or orange. That's all they have')

That is awesome that your hospital has a birthing tub!! Just make sure you are alloed to birth in it. Some insurances will make you get out right before delivery. Also make it clear to the staff your plan so they know exactly wjatyou want and not pressure you into interventions and drugs you dont want. Sometimes hospital just want.to get you in and out.  I am water birthing myself
