Changing doctors

Is it possible to change one's doctor in the last three weeks of the second trimester? I mean would any doctor take a new patient who is so far along in the pregnancy? Would any of you know about this? I have been thinking of changing my doctor - but I cannot make up my mind.

I think it'd be fine, I recently moved and switched docs around 25 weeks.  I was nervous about the new doc since I loved my old doctors, but it turned out alright so far :) Good luck!

I am almost 26 weeks & I just switched Drs. & it was no problem at all!  So I can't see it being a problem for you.  Just call around to a few offices & ask if they are taking new patients & would be willing to take you on at your stage of pregnancy.
Good luck!

I wouldn't think that's an issue. People move and have to switch doctors all the time. You could always call a couple of places and ask if they take new patients before making a decision. Best of luck!
