cramps....ouch

Hello Ladies.  I was having really bad cramps today, so bad they made me feel sick and start sweating.  Well it scared me so I called my doc and went in for my first u/s.  Good news there were TWO tiny heartbeats.  WOW I am so excited.  My question is has anyone had cramps like this before?  Is anybody out there having multiples?  Any help would be appreciated.

Congrats! I wish I had twins too ! Was always facinated with multiples. But no complaints now - one is great too! I had cramps earlier on but now they have totally gone. My doc said its natural to have cramps.

gosh that makes me feel better. Nothing I do will make them go away except for tylenol. I am so glad there are people like yall willing to share your time with me, to help me along this journey me and hubby have been traveling for 8 years.   I did want to add that this was all natural... amazing.  Praise God!!!!

Hey...how great!  I was worried because we are pretty close to the same time along, and your levels were so much higher than mine.  I thought mine were ok, but then I saw yours and was hoping mine weren't low.  Now I'm glad they are a little lower!  I can only imagine passing out at the sight of 2 heartbeats. (of course I would take it in a second, but I'm good with one also!)
I imagine that the cramping I feel you would feel more intensely as your uterus is preparing to nurture and nestle 2 babies for a long 9 months.  I wish you lots and lots of luck!!

Congratulations!!  That's awesome!  I've had cramps early on but they've subsided alot.  They still come and go every now and again, but not like before.  Every couple days though I'll get this big cramp, where I can barely move (lasts for about 10 seconds or so) and then goes away.  That's about it. Does sitting down or laying down help with them at all?  Was your doc concerned or anything with the cramps?  Congrats again!  :)
