April Baby Updates!

I know many of our babies have appt's at different times during the month, so whenever you find the time, let us know how the little ones are doing!

Lexi turned 4 months on the 9th and had her shots that friday. She only cried for a few minutes, which was a relief. She weighs 13lbs 6oz now according to the ped, but I thought the nurse said 13lbs 2oz. Not that big of a deal anyways. She was 26" long and in the 90th percentile for height, 50th% for weight. He said that since she had made it to 13 lbs he wasn't going to make us go to a specialist, Thank God!

Her reflux has gotten so much better since I had to give it up and add the rice cereal back into her bottles, it's also helped with her weight gain. She's still fitting into 3 month clothes, but they're too short! Lol. And the 3-6 or 6 month pants just fall right off of her.

She's rolling from back to belly now and wants to sleep on her back now. It worries me bc I'm paranoid about SIDS. Last night she went to sleep at 630 and slept until 515 this morning, after I fed her she went back to sleep til 9. I just can't get her to nap very well during the day. She loves her Bumbo chair and loves being held by Mommy or Daddy.

Iris turned 4 months on the 8th and just had her shots a couple of days ago, poor thing cried and cried... it's been awhile since I had seen her tears :(( She's 13 lbs, 15 oz and in the 50th percentile for height. She's rolling belly to back and during tummy time she looks like she's trying to crawl - she sticks her butt in the air and moves her legs but she hasn't figured out to move her arms yet, lol :)) She smiles a lot and when we read to her she reaches for the book and plays with the pages. Recently she's started to drool more and her hands are constantly in her mouth.

She's a sleepyhead and typically sleeps 6-8 hours straight. Bedtime is 7 and she's up for the day at 8:30-9. Compared to her fussiest at 7,8 weeks, she's definitely mellowed out (knock on wood!). The one thing she doesn't tolerate is if she's sleepy and hasn't been put down to sleep :)

Aubryana's four month appointment and shots will be next Friday, I'm getting excited to see how much she's grown. I'm still exclusively breast feeding. She's starting to notice us eating more and looks like she wants our food, but I'm gonna wait it out until she's six months to give her baby food unless the doctor says otherwise. I'll update more next Friday.

As of now, she laughs, almost sits up unsupported, rolls tummy to back and can almost roll back to tummy, loves sitting in the walker and has started to be able to push herself backwards. She likes sitting in her bumbo chair, and has been reaching for, holding, and tasting all of her toys, lol. She still wants to be held a lot and I'm enjoying it, but she is growing more independent every day!

So far she's been a really good sleeper, she goes down around 8-9 and sleeps until at least 2 usually and then wakes up two to three times to eat between then and about 8 when we get up, or earlier depending on when Elijah gets up. She takes at least three or four naps during the day ranging from 30 min to a couple hours. Still a happy laid back baby, but she knows how to get her way, even has her own little, well big high pitched scream/cry thing..lol.
