Finally started having contractions w/out walking...

Well I havent had any luck with them being consistant, but 1-2 an hour while sitting still at work is much needed progress to try and get this baby girl to come meet us!! My due date is tomorrow 12/30 and 40 week DR appointment also, cant wait and hope for good news. Like my midwife will let me keep going to try for my VBAC!!

There is only a few of us left right? GOOD LUCK EVERYONE ON DELIVERY DAY AND BIG CONGRATS TO THOSE ALREADY HOLDING THEIR BABIES!!!

So far we're good, she is moving well and not really showing us she is ready for fresh air. I have 12hours till the new year- so just maybe going for a walk this afternoon will be the trick!!

Its amazing what we hope for with our pregnancys vs what our bodys allow us/give.

Good Luck. I was originally told my due date was the 30th so we wanted the 31st.
We thought it be fun for the baby to get to party and have cake and gifts!! But she came out November 30th instead!! I wanted so much to get to at least December 1st. Not a big deal but I wanted to be able to sing "on the 1st day of christmas my true love gave to me, Baby Zoey!!"

But she came out at 11:02pm on the 30th. Bummer huh? There was only 1 more freaking hour. LOL

Well good luck to you Caralea, hope she makes it to January for ya. Go VBAC!!
As long as shes healthy that's all that matters right!

I hope for your sake- that baby gets a move on it!!

We are being patient, but still hopefull for my VBAC- so here I am trying to relax and wait!! I'm trying to convince my brain- mind over matter... 'She will be born in Jan' LOL

Dilation is a start for us, as is getting some contractions. Hubby and I are going to have an interesting weekend in home- with the snow storm and all.. maybe that will help MarLea decide otherwise about keeping me pregnant!!

yay that all sounds perfect :)
i am still on modified bedrest and having contractions every 10 min or so now.  finally had bloody show last night too, so hopefully that means i've actually started to dilate past the 1-2 i have been at for the past 3 weeks....
she's definitely bearing down as well and i can feel nearly constant pressure.
so we are hoping tonight or tomorrow she decides to come out.

well update after the DR... I am about 1cm dilated, thinning out and still pregnant. All vitals are great BP normal, no protein or sugar in urine, 144 HR and still able to wait another week to try for a VBAC. Lost 2 lbs also.

Next Friday- if I am still pregnant we'll have a NST, US & Check up to probably schedule a c-section for the following week (Jan 10-16)

Thanks ladies.. I am still working hard to get her to join us on her own.

I think I am doomed to be the last one NJ if she doesnt get motivated, we'll be doing a c-section the 2nd week of January!!
