Updates on babies - March

Not sure if there's many that still check this forum, but it's been a month since the last update and I wanted to ask how everyone is doing.
My baby girl turned 3 months last week, and I think she's about 13 lbs. I'm back at work but she doesn't seem to have much of a problem with me being away. She's started sleeping for 7-8 hours at night so now she sleeps in her crib. She eats 6-7 times a day, and I'm still exclusively breastfeeding. My plan is to keep it up until she's at least 6 months old, but maybe I can go longer than that. She's a curious little baby and loves to check out what goes on around her. She seems right on track with the developmental milestones although I haven't heard her truly laugh yet.

Jenna will be 14 weeks tomorrow and is growing like a weed. Today she is 14lbs 2 oz and 24 in long.  I just listed a bunch of her 0-3 mo clothes on Ebay and we went up to size 2 in diapers.  I have been purchasing diapers from Costco and had over 100 of the 1-2 size. I sold them on craigslist within 1/2 hour. My mom bought 10 jumbo packs of size 2 Huggies for real cheap from someone before she was born and now we are using them.  She is really gooing and cooing a lot now.  Everything makes her giggle.  I had to stop breast feeding at 2 months.  She was so gassy and unhappy.  I started her on Similac Sensitive and saw a dramatic difference.  Come to find out she is Lactose intolerant.  If I had stopped consuming cheese and change to Lactaid milk I would have been able to continue. I had never heard of this since my other 3 never had a problem.  Found out to late to start pumping again.  She is eating 5 oz bottles every 2 hours and sleeps from 9-10pm to 6-7am.

A little late, been super busy BUT...

Aubryana turns 4 months this Thursday. At her two month appointment she was 12 lbs and 23 inches, I'm guessing now she's about 14 lbs and 24 1/2 inches, her 4 month appointment is on the 22 of this month. She got her shots a little later, at the end of 2 months, so I'm having to hold off til the end of 4 months and 6 months now but she should be fine for her 1 year on time. There's just too many people here so her appointments are later than I'd like. I just found out I'd have to call four weeks early to get an appointment closer to the day she turns ___ months, but since the two month shots were late it's pointless now. She's rolling over, tummy to back, smiling and starting to laugh. Still exclusively breast feeding, tried to give her a bottle and she freaked out, screamed and bawled, almost made ME cry. SO I've decided to not try to give her another for a while, and DH and I will have to suffer with the time we get until she's weaned, or if I can get her to take a bottle again. She's starting to look more interested in food, when I eat and she's sitting with me she wants to grab my plate, I'm not planning on introducing anything until six months, but only time will tell what happens.

Zoey is going to be 4 months on the 30th. She smiles at me and coos. She'll sometimes get fussy at around 5pm, tired I think from the day, but loves the bath so that calms her right down to prepare for bedtime. I still pump, never was able to latch, mainly the nipples invert so easily. I am mostly using formula with some breast milk. Enfamil works well, she HATED Good start, makes her wail in pain. Now i'm trying the Walmart brand Parent's choice. Tested it out today, so far so good. It is affordable and a large can costs $11 as opposed to Enfamils $24 can that is half the size almost.

Zoey loves this one toy i bought. It's from Cloud B the same people that make the sleep sheep. It's called "twilight turtle" I totally recommend it. It projects stars onto the ceiling with 3-4 different colors. I had to order through ebay cuz for some reason it's hard to find in stores in Canada. She loves it, coos and smiles. Later on you can teach them constelations, they actually have real ones in the stars. It's really cool.
They have some generic ones on ebay that work just as well as the real Cloud B one. I got one for a friend, Is way cheaper too and cycles through the colors as opposed to the original that doesn't. Anyways i recommend it very much!!

Next week she gets her 4m shots, hope she's a trooper like the last time! She weight 11.6 pounds :)

MarLea Rose is just shy of 11 weeks, I do believe she is around 11 pounds and 22" long. She is steadily growing around the 25th percentile range. Which is exactly like my son. I keep getting asked if she was a premie and it is funny to see peoples faces when I tell them: "nope, she was 8days late and almost 8 pounds!" I litterally had the smallest 8lb baby ever! LOL

She nurses all morning long with mommy at home, then I work M-TH 1pm-midnight. It is very hard to be away that long from her, but then we have all FRI-SUN together. She seems to be handling daddy rather well, she has him whipped in fact. I can set her down in the swing or bouncer and she'll be fine and or fall a sleep, if he tries- she crys to be held again. Too funny.

I think she is finally sleeping for about 8hrs at a time. The last two nights in a row she has done great... around 11 or 11:30 she is placed in her crib and then she wakes around 6 or 7am. At that time I let her lay with me in bed and nurse as she pleases- we switch every so often to keep them filling back up.

I am so tickled pink that I am still nursing and of course pumping at work for my baby girl. I didnt have success last time, so I am very excited. I have about 14 servings in the fridge at any one time and have started freezing a bag per day for future use. It has been a long hall to get here- but I am still working hard at it. Unfortunatly I am not a fountain, but I do get about 2-5oz per pumping all together. She has had formula off and on over the corse of the last 2 months and so far I have only purchased one newborn (lg) 23oz can for that entire time. I just recently decided to buy the next round of formula and the next age group. We will be using it as needed and to help her grow, since she is still so tiny.

She coos and giggles, smiles at anyone, she loves to lay in bed and talk to the dream catcher. I cant believe how easily it has been to fall in love with another child- I love my kids both so much. My baby is almost 3months and my son will be 4 yrs old this weekend. WOW.

Hope everyone is doing well and their babies keep on growing and stay healthy.

Lexi had the croup last week and she weighed 11lbs 7oz and was 23" long. She's behind on her weight gain bc of her reflux issues. We've since been adding back the rice cereal to her bottles and I think she may be picking her weight back up. She'll be four months old in 2 weeks and will be getting her second round of immunizations then.

She likes to blow bubbles and coo all the time as well as kick her feet. She sleeps from 8pm to about 5am. I feed her and then she goes back to sleep til about 9 or 10am. Overall she's happy and healthy, we just need to get her reflux under more control so that she can gain a bit faster.
