Updates on our Babies!

Lexi had her two month appt on the ninth. We finally got her formula situated, and she's doing wonderfully on the Alimentum! She now weighs 10lbs 2oz (DH weighed this at birth! How funny!) and is 22 inches long. We're going to have to add the rice cereal back to her formula because her reflux is getting worse again and the Zantac isn't cutting it. :( She's all smiles and is eating more. She's teething now, which makes her grumpy. After her shots we started putting her in her crib and she sleeps through the night and takes several naps during the day.

Isabelle had her 2 month old app. on the 7th of feb. She was 9bls 14oz and 21.5inches long. She sleeps throgh the night now from 9:30-6:30. She is a really content, easy baby. She is 11 and 1/2 weeks now and abot 11lbs. She loves to kick and play on her back or to  be sitting up right in her high chair, she hates tummy time and laying back in a bouncy chair.
I'm lucky enough to stay home with her until she turns one, I want this year to go by slowly, she is my last and i want to soak up every min. of it

Zoe is seven weeks old. She weighs nearly 11 lbs and is 23 1/2 inches long (tall like her Daddy). She sleeps from 9:30 to 4am, feeds and then sleeps again until 8am. Since I have a very low milk supply, we breast, pump and formula. She has no problem with either type of feeding. I am on Reglan and Fennugreek to stimulate my meager supply. She is very alert; she smiles, whacks at her toys and pets her Teddy Bear (not quite coordinated to purposely grasp yet), supports her head and is constantly babbling. I am lucky to still be home; I am not returning to work until June and get very teary at the thought of leaving her then.

Lexi would arch her back and cry, spit up, vomit up most of her feedings (partially due to cow's milk/soy milk allergy, partly reflux), I also noticed that there was a constant coating on her tongue. It was formula that was coming up and spoiling on her tongue leaving a thick brown/white coating. When i was holding her I could hear formula coming up and she would cough and choke and swallow it back down.

Nicole, what are the symptoms of acid reflux that you've seen? I'm suspecting that my baby girl might be having that, although it doesn't seem very consistent.

My little chubby cheeks is doing well, she was 11lbs 4 oz at 2 months and 22 inches long. The most she's slept at night is 6 hours. She can't quite fall asleep on her own yet, but I've been trying to help her learn gradually. It was a big fight until she accepted the bottle, but we finally found one she tolerated and after 4 feedings in a row, she was drinking from it without a fuss. I'm going back to work in a week and I'm absolutely dreading it :( I'll miss her every minute.
