Wednesday Weeklies Aug 18

25w3d-Sleep is getting harder to achieve and that kinda s-u-c-k-s but I get by for now. I think I am just starting to get antsy and fearful of school with a toddler and a newborn. ^_^

We officially have everything now that we needed for our new little guy right down to a nice selection of diapers. We got our 17 month old a big boy bed this past weekend at a yard sale and ordered a new bedding set to go with it. We plan to start getting him used to it around January so when Zach moves out of our room and into the crib, hopefully Phin will not feel like he is being kicked out of his crib for the baby. The logistics of these things are so fun to try and figure out ahead of time. ^_^

I have gained back all the weight I lost and am at the stage of pregnancy where even though I totally look pregnant, I feel huge and then sad as I know that huge is yet to come. All I want ot eat is fresh fruits, veggies and all the carbs I can get my hands on...*blush* I live for bagels what can I say?

I have as of right now have no stretch marks still. Last time they appeared overnight at about 38 weeks along, so I expect the same to happen again. My breasts are back to being mammoth, huge things attached to me and that only adds to the back strain, but I look forward to nursing again, I truly love the experience and I hope Zach nurses as long as Phin did (14 months) if not longer.

Uhm...what else? I am an emotional wreck when it comes to some things. I was watching a clip of something to do with kids and I was bawling by the end of it, yet laughing at the same time as I saw how ridiculous I must look.

I can't believe that in 15 weeks, I will be Momma to 2 little boys! It makes my heart so full that I fear it will break wide open and pour all over the place. I rub my belly often and tell Zach all about his big brother and his pets and his family and how we all love him so much already. He kicks back in response.

Well 21 weeks tomorrow.. so excited and happy I have made it this far and know I am going to have a beautiful little girl around the New Year. Miss MarLea had been active for 5-6 weeks and hubby still hasn't felt her squirm. She is very active around 4pm and again around 11pm, I dont mind since I work 1:30-12mid M-T and I get time just with her. But sometimes- man she is like a lap-puppy that just wont settle in to a comfy spot. LOL

Also since my placenta is in the front it feels way different with her being able to kick and jump on my other organs, silly girl. I am deffinantly bigger and can feel the tightness in my tummy. Still no weight gain, but the midwife will confirm that next Tues 8/24. On 9/22 I will also get my 4th u/s to double check MarLea's size as well and the placenta placement
and finally get my photos!! Hope they will do some 3-D ones so I can see her features.

Sleeping isnt too bad, I just happen to notice my hands/arms fall asleep often and my hands have been the only thing to swell with the humidity. Ankles are doing good so far. I have been having lots of hip pain and was refered to a chiropracter, will have to talk with the midwife next week as the one she refered isnt on the PPO list for my two insurances.

All is well and I am definantly excited to see her again, not to mention the 2 baby showers I will be having in October and November (thanks to my mom and a good friend). I never had one with my son- my mom threw me a coming home shower the day I was released from the hospital. So I cant wait for the showers; to get to celebrate MarLea's birth and see friends!!  I know DH and I will be purchasing all of the big/expensive stuff anyway as we wont ask for our friends to do so. Boy shopping around Christmas time will be fun.. I am thinking after holiday discounts!!!!

22 weeks 5 days and feeling great! Went in last Thursday to get cheked as i had never experienced round ligament pain before with my first baby i thought i was going into early labor, but thank God i wasnt and it was just my belly streching! We found out we are having a baby boy again (: and i couldnt be more happy about it.. we have decided his name is going to be Alexander Zadiel! I have my regualr check up this Friday to see how everything is going and my 4th U/S September 14th and cant wait! I have noticed alot of cramping that comes and goes down by the belly button on the left side.. uncofortable but normal according to the doctors! I am too struggling with sleep :/ but its ok it will all be worth it once i have my little Alexander in my arms!

P.S: My baby weighed 1lb at my 21 weeks 2 days check up!! (:

21 weeks 4 days....sounds like we are mostly in the same boat.  Sleeping is getting more interesting, but my snoogle makes it much better.
Lillian goes absolutely bonkers at times-i swear she has a trampoline in there somewhere.
DH has been able to feel her this week as well.
Lots of cramping and changes in discharge-led me to the ER on Monday. But my cervix is closed and the fluid is not amniotic fluid and i have no infections of any kind...so just stretching.
i feel like a cow and am just going to keep on getting bigger :)
defintely slowing down.  went from walking to swimming for exercise and am starting to cut back my hours at work a bit since 9 hours of being on my feet straight is getting to be too much.
Ordered compression socks which should be here shortly, so hoping that helps with the swelling.
actually lost a lb this week, so i'm only up 16 now :)
no appointments for me until 9/21 when i have an US and my diabetes screen.
starting the day care search which is going to be a long one i think...
whee :)

24 weeks 5 days - Olivia Lynn moves so much!! DH was actually first to feel her around 20 weeks...ticked me off...and even now when I can't get her to move he just has to put his hand on my tummy and she goes crazy... I can't help but think she's a brat like me lol!! I can see my stomache move when she kicks now too!! I go to the doctor tomorrow so I'm anxious to see if I've gained any weight! I don't have any stretch marks yet and ppl who don't know me freak out when I say I'm six months pregnant - those who do say I'm finally starting to look a little pregnant! I can't believe I only have about 3 1/2 months to go!!!! I will be in the third Trimest in 2 weeks!! I can't wait!!

Hello Ladies!  I'm in week 22 and other than not finding a comfortable sleeping position pregnancy is going well.  The girls have picked up some speed on their movements and now feel them moving frequently.  DH has yet to fell them.

I purchased the cribs and dresser this past weekend and also started my registry. Since I'm a first time mommy I was over whelmed with the registry.  I've had 3 of my girl friends look at it to make sure I got everything covered- the girls needs A LOT of stuff.  Yikes!

The nursery will be started in a couple of weeks.  Still need to find the crib bedding stuff- saw a few I liked but didn't like the price that went with it.

I'm slower at getting around and my energy is down. DH says I only last 30 minutes for any given activity. I have been having fainting spells (well one) and told OB- she said it was normal and a way for my body to tell me that I'm not getting enough oxygen or other things- so it shuts off, need to rest and drink plenty of fluids.

Hope everyone is well, I have an US next week.  Can't wait to see the girls, it's a growth scan so we will find out how much they've gained in a month. I've gained 14 lbs so far.

Still feeling pretty good... we too don't have a name yet.  It's important for me to pick something soon so the kids can get used to calling him by his name.  I had plans to put my soon to be 2 year old in the convertible crip/toddler bed and let the baby have her crib.  She doesn't want a big girl bed.  So the baby is going to go in the convertible crip/toddler bed and she's keeping her crib.  We'll see how long she likes that after the baby comes.  Yes, the logistics this time are a lot more work.  My son starts preschool next week, so the thought of taking him to preschool with a 2 year old and newborn, then trying to get home and get the two year old to take a nap before we have to turn around and pick him up are a little scary right now.

I have lost a little weight and am back in the negative.  We have an appointment on the 3rd., so with all the eating I will be doing between now and I then I'm sure that will change.

My son got to feel the baby move a few days ago.  He thought that was so great!  DH still hasn't felt the baby move.

For those of you with other kids, anyone considering having your kids there at the birth?  I'm not sure yet....

I am 24 wks 6 dys and feeling good. I had my first trip to ER last night, had lots of discharge but they assured me it was normal and my cervix is closed. It just really seems to be a lot. The baby is a girl, we have named her Jahveah, and she too is a squirmer! I love the reassurance she gives me with the kicks. Her busy time is at 11 PM, hopefully that changes once she is born!
My ankles and feet are very swollen by the end of the week but the humidity has passed so hopefully it won't be so bad going forward!

Enjoy the rest of the week!

I'm 23w6d and Ava is a mover and a shaker!!  She is already making me laugh because she won't let DH feel her move or see her move (my belly jumps and waves).  As soon as he looks away or moves his hand, she goes nuts!!  She's ornery!!  I have my next appt. Friday the 20th and I'm not looking forward to seeing that scale!!  I had to finally give in and buy some new bras this past weekend as mine are now the next cup size up!!  I have ordered her nursery furniture and plan on starting that in September.  We have our 3D-4D sonogram booked for Saturday September 11 and I'm so excited to get a better look at her!!  Just a little over 3 weeks!!  My dreams are still weird and my sleep is getting harder, but all in all I'm feeling pretty good!!

Oh, my feet and ankles have been swelling a couple times a week so that is very pretty, lol!!

We are 22 weeks today!  Our surrogate is feeling good, and says she is getting big!  She is noticing her belly itching, which for her is a sign of her belly stretching.  She was hoping not to add to her stretch mark collection....but we will have to see on that one!

The babies are moving all around now, and she says she can distinctly feel the one on the top and the one on the bottom.  Other than that, all is going great.

Our next appointment is a week from tomorrow and I can't wait to see the ultrasound and hear how they are doing!  We are planning on doing a 4D ultrasound at week 27 to see them, and I am really excited about that!

I hope you are all feeling wonderful, and having a great week!

23 weeks 6 days, not much new going on. Baby girl is kicking more and more. I have no clue what name she's going to have...we thought we had one picked out but the more I say it the more I don't like it.

Sleep has been rough the last few days DS has gotten up in the middle of the night between 130-230 and stayed up until at least 5 both times. I'm still working on getting him back on a schedule from all the moving around we did. He's still attached to me at the hip, and even though I love my momma's boy...Mommy is TIRED! I've basically forced DH to do things with DS every day by sitting/laying on the couch and not moving. DS doesn't mind daddy playing with him, so I'm happy I can get some rest.

My heartburn/acid reflux/indigestion is getting worse again...trying to change my diet some to see if that helps...

Um...that's really about it for this week so far.
