Pregant after 2 misccariages

I to 5 wks pregnant.  I had 2 miscarriages in 5 month last one being in October , took me 4 months of trying after my last dnc. I so badly want to be excited about this pregnancy.  But am so worried that I will not see a baby or a heartbeat on the u/s.  I am getting an early u/s at 7wks to confirm viable pregnancy. I have a beautiful, almost 2yr old daughter now,  and had a very easy, uncomplicated pregnancy.

Has anyone had 2 miscarriages and gone onto staying pregnant the 3 time?

I'm going in at 6 wks for an u/s. My doctor has run so many tests just to figure me out. He said "you were sent to me to keep me on my toes!" the earlier I know that things are going right or wrong the better I am going to feel! I would def beg him to check into the progesterone levels because there are many women who this is the only problem and it is the reason they have children. If your doctor isn't doing everything in his power to make sure you are ok an having a healthy baby I might switch doctors. I switched doctors after my tubal because my doctor wouldn't test me for anything. As soon as I walked in to my new doctors office he started doing tests and figured out it was a tubal, had it removed, and we sat up a plan for the next time and a schedule of when to have more blood work done.

Hi Heather,  good luck to you as well! My first mc was at 11wks,  but baby was uwk6day,  no heartbeat on u/s.  I ended up hemorrhaging and having emergency dnc,  second mc was found again on u/s,  i was 8wks,  there was an 8wk placenta but no baby in it.   They won't do any testing until I have miscarried 3x.  I asked him about progesterone and he said that he basically doesn't believe in it and he really thinks that because I have delivered a baby before with no problems that both of my mc's were bad luck.
I want to fast forward to my u/s next week so I know what is going on!

I am in the same boat as you are. The only difference is one of mine was a tubal pregnancy. Did the doctors do any tests on you to see why you miscarried? The problem with me was my progesterone was too low. I am also having and ultra sound early because of viability. I'm a little excited but scared that it could happen again. Emotionally, it's probably one of the worst things that I have ever been through and I don't want it to happen again. I'm sure you agree. I'll say a little prayer for you and I hope everything turns out for the best!
