Pregnancy Books..

Has anyone been reading any good pregnancy books?  I just finished reading "Ina Mae's Guide to Childbirth" and it was AMAZING!  Very informative and comprehensive.  I have "What to Expect When You're Expecting" which is OK, but this one with the birth stories and statistics was really more up my alley.  I liked it so well, I decided to read "Spiritual Midwifery" written by the same author.  My midwife practice has a pretty nice library of material, which was really nice, since Barnes and Noble was "sketchy" in tha I searched high to low and couldn't find one book.  I checked all of the obvious sections about 5 times, and just gave up.  There is nothing better than being informed about labor and birth, and reading these sort of books really gives perspective.

I also have "what to expect" but will look into "guide to childbirth" now on my kindle :) ty

Let me correct myself. ...I have four kids and the only time I read books was with my first child and that was 10 years ago so I remember loving dr sears books but you may be right...maybe he didn't write pregnancy books maybe it was all about babies and kids....sorry if that's the case...you can easily find out :)

De sears is amazing he wrote pregnancy books first year books disciplining uour child books brw astfeeding books I think I read them all :)

Interesting.  I wasn't aware that Dr Sears wrote pregnancy books.  I thought he was a pediatrician?

I only have the What to Expect book but will look into some of the others you listed. My husband is reading What to Expect When Your Wife is Expanding. It is humorous and detailed. :)
