baby movement

So I was told by my doctor that I may not be able to feel the baby until 22 weeks as this is my first pregnancy and my job keeps me on my feet and active. Most of the time when I get home I eat and then right to be to get as much sleep as I can before an early morning. I think I have felt some thongs but don't really know if it is the baby or if it is just my body and my brain making them up. My tummy gets tight and then relaxes a couple times a day. I guess my question is, at what point should I be worried if I don't feel my baby? The last us 2 weeks ago said everything was fine. Is it also possible that I may not be sensitive enough to the movement but my husband can feel it when he puts his hand on my tummy? I'm just confused and worried there is something wrong woth me not being able to feel the baby. I don't want to miss out on that part of the pregnancy.

Thanks. I was able to sit and relax for a couple hours this morning and felt a few kicks in my lower ab area. And then about an hour later I felt a punch in my upper tummy area. What a day to feek the first movements and plenty of them.

I also have a job that kieeps me on my feet quite a bit and i don'f fell my little guy move when I'm up and moving around. When I feel him the most is when I finally get to sit down for a couple of minutes that is when he really gives me a good few kicks. What you may need to do is sit in a quiet room and try to be relaxed, you should start to feel your little one move. As long as you feel the baby now and again I don't think you should have that much to worry about. You need to try to have a little bonding time with your little one even while their in the womb. And as for the tightening of the stomach  that is completely normal, it's your body's way of practicing for labor.

Congradulations!!!
