I am 33 weeks and 5 days and i havent had an ultra sound since 20 weeks. All my doctor does is measure my stomach and listen to the heartbeat. Is that normal? I have an appointment on tuesday and id really like to know if thats what all doctors do.

My doctor only did one ay 18 weeks. . As long as everything keeps going smoothly I won't get another one. . I did get a 3d/ 4d at 30 weeks but that was out of pocket and wasn't at my dr office. ..

Don't feel bad it's actually not a bad thing. It's not healthy to get a lot of ultrasounds especially if you don't have complications. My doctor doesn't do ultrasounds in his office he sends me to a specialist. I had my first ultrasound at 8wks on a little monitor in his office & 12wk growth scan, a gender scan at 20 wks & my last one was at 27 wks for irregular heartbeat. I know your probably anxious about seeing the little one but as long as the baby is healthy there really is no need for extra ultrasounds.

Ask him to see your baby my doctor was trying to do that to me all the time also
