One week to go! Big baby.

I had my 39week checkup today! I'm 3cm dialated, measuring 40weeks and the doctors are thinking my baby girl is 8+lbs and growing! I've been dialated since 35weeks and there are no signs that she's coming soon... They did a memembrane sweep so hopefully that helps move things along because her father was 10lbs so heaven only knows how big she'll get lol. Anyone else expecting a big baby?

My last pregnancy I was induced 1 week early and my daughter weighed 9lbs 6ounces. This pregnancy I expect somewhere around the same. I was borderline 9lbs when born and Dad was very close to 10lbs when he was born. Beginning of November my baby girl was already measuring at 5lbs 3ounces and I am due Christmas Day.

I am 37 weeks and when my doctor measured my belly on Tuesday she mentioned how much my baby had grown and said he would probably be on the larger end of average,  depending on when he comes. There is a history of babies well over 8 lbs in my family.

It was uncomfortable, but from what other women described it as I expected much worse! You'll be a little sore, but with everything else going on in your body you'll hardly notice lol. I didn't spot after either so it really wasn't bad.

I am. My first was 11lbs 1 oz at birth and then this baby just measured at 7lbs 6 oz the other day and still have 11 more days to go. The ultrasound tech said she bets he is actually 1/2 lb bigger though bc he was so squished in there she couldn't accurately measure everything.
