You need a medical reason or be over 40 weeks. There also special situation like husband going to be out of the country... Why would you want to be induce?
My due date is also my youngest child's birthday and I just don't want for them to share birthdays and I have 3 kids already and I am one of those people who have to have things planned.
I totally understand. With my 2nd and 3rd we planned an induction, my dr lets you scedule anytime after 39 weeks of you want (it also has to be your second problem free pregnancy, with a previosly healthy weighted and healthy apgar scored baby)
Also, he makes sure you have some dialation and thinning in the cervix. If you don't, he will not induce until after the due date. But every dr is dofferent
Mine said he will induce me at 39 wks. Cuz i want to lol. He did that with my last 2. Just because i asked for it. No medical reason or nothing like that.
Mine offered as well i think because I'm due Christmas day idk he said for convenience reasons if i wanted to we could discuss it but I'm fine letting her come whenever.
I'm due December 28th and I'm being induced at 38 weeks . I have a medical condition but I also told my doctor I was worried about being in the hospital on Christmas bc I have two other little ones at home . So she booked me for an induction in December 15th .
Ummm I don't think you can ask to be induced. The Dr. Is the one that will tell you when you are ready .!!!
Monday I will be 36 weeks I'm so ready to have this baby that I wish I could ask to be induce: ( but no
I asked to be induced early and my doctor is fine with it!
It depends on the doctor. None of the doctors at the clinic I go to will induce unless your over or have a medical condition. I'm due christmas and I was told no still.
I asked to be induced before my due date and my doctor said he's perfectly fine with inducing me a week early. no medical reason at all just simply because I want to.
It depends on the dr, with my first two they refused. This time if I wanted to, they would. I don't think any Dr will induce you sooner than 37 weeks though, unless there is a medical issue anyway. ...baby isn't considered full term until 37-38 weeks, depending on who you ask..?
It might depend on where you live to. The drs in Kansas aren't allowed to induce until after 39 weeks. Even then every office is different, with my son they did at 39 weeks this time they won't until 40 weeks . either way best of luck, I'd ask your Dr office they can tell you . :)
