Hyperactive baby and I'm 38 wks today

I was wondering if anyone else's baby has gotten more active the closer it came to their due date. I went to the dr on Tuesday and he said the baby was already engaged and I 2 cm dilated and 80 percent effaced. I always heard they tend to calm down before delivery but it seems my little boy has become more active as of late. Just making sure I'm not the only one.

Mine has! But only in random spurts. I got worried bacuse I wasn't feeling him much at all then all of sudden he was crazy baby! Now he won't move for long periods but then doesn't stop for hours, my stomach is literally sore from his crazy jabs. .I'm ready to meet my little guy, but hopefully he stays till his due date, I want to get through the holiday so I can enjoy my little baby bean...

IM 36wks and 5 days....at 35 wks I was 1cm dilated. She is very active and the closer it gets to due date the more active she becomes.You would think they move out of room but doctor said its a good sign the baby remains active.I go back tomorrow (monday) for them to check my cervix again and see if I dilated  anymore. Im excited!!

I'm 35 weeks and the closer I get the wilder he gets. Today he has been pretty calm but most of the time he is wild.
