transverse lie

I found out on Monday that my daughter is still in the Transverse Lie position. They expect the baby to be head down by 28 to 30 weeks, and she is still sideways at 32 wks. At my next appointment he said if the position is the same, I will go in for a scan just to double check, and then scedule a csection for 7-10 days before my due day. Anyone been there, done that and had baby flip last minute? I really don't want to have a cesarean.

Thanks ladies! I wholeheartedly trust my dr. He has safely  led me through three wonderful deliveries, and I am sure that if he knew I was racking my brains this much he would yell at me and tell me to take a nap!!! And he didn't seem to urgently concerned, just matter o factly telling me what the next steps would be IF she stubbornly stayed put. Again, thank you!!

I'm 32 weeks and they haven't even started checking me for that. I think you have plenty of time since some babies head down 36 or 37 weeks.

They should do one but sometimes they can tell how baby is positioned by feeling your stomach. At your next visit you should ask if they will do another ultrasound to make sure she didn't flip .

Will they do another ultrasound before (if it does come down to a scheduled cesarean) they actually go forward with it, like that morning.... I have had three previous vaginal deliveries and all were head down at 28 wks, it was a little scary to hear at first! And then of course Google is just the worst.

My last pregnancy my son flipped at 35 weeks and was feet down . They scheduled me a c-section but at the end of my 36 week he flipped again. I could feel him turn . I went in for my check up and he was head down . I was induced at 40 weeks and had him all natural :) you have plenty of time for your baby to flip . Try not to worry Hun
