Does anyone know about the birth control mirena
Does anyone know anything about the birth control mirena? I know the basic info in it but was wondering before I went to the doctor and had it put in. Also have another question but this is off over the subject of birth control. I had a c-section on febuary 3 and ever since I had it I have not had an appatight. I have to make myself eat. And when I do eat I get full way before I know I need to stop. What I mean is I can eat a couple of bits and Im done. Anyone have an advice on it.
One of the doctors in my OB-GYN office came to check on me when I was in the hospital after giving birth (she was the dr on call that day). She actually discussed Mirena with me. She had a baby around 5 months ago and said she is using the Mirena BC and loves it. She suggested that I might try it instead of going back on the pill.
She told me it was not very painful to have it inserted (slight cramping) and that it didn't take long at all. She also said that you may have some spotting on and off for the first month or so until your body adjusts.
That's all I can tell you. I'm debating on using it myself.
