This week has been very eventful for me!

So I went to the Docs yesterday...they did the Strep B Culture and did an internal where they told me that his head was definitely down and in position and I was 1+ cm dialated!! So they are going to keep a close watch on that every visit. I'm now going in every week, so my next appointment is Jan 12th!

We also found out, all this pain I've been experiencing in my leg and pelvis is because Caidens resting right on my Sciatic Nerve..well a part of his body is..and its sending pain throughout my entire right leg and my whole pelvis..making it very painful to sit, stand, roll over in bed, walk..basically do anything! Unfortunately there's nothing they can do to move him or get rid of the pain. She gave me some tips on how to try and ease the pain...but nothings worked so far. I woke up today in a bit less pain, so maybe he's slowly shifting whatever part is on my nerve, but chances of him actually moving are slim since he's already in birthing position.

So could be any day now!! Our bags are packed and were ready to go!
He's been kicking like crazy..so I really think he is running out of room in there. And she estimated that he was a little over 6 pounds which she said was normal. So she predicted he would be an average sized baby at birth. So I'm literally just waiting for my water to break!!
Oh and speaking of..I posted in the 34& under but I started loosing my mucous plug last night!! I think I only lost part of it and I'm slowly starting to loose the rest...so just another sign, labor is getting closer! Can't wait to have my little boy!!

Been there done that LOL, with my 1st child. "save the prim rose" had not heard of it, but trust had i found out about it back then i would have tried it. Hang in there in know its tough and very uncomfortable toward the end.
I am only 33wks and my hip is killing, i cannot eate anything, i got a virus from my kids. and the list goes on. I have a Dr's appt tomorow i am hoping i can schdule  my C-section tomorow that might help me feel better,

Hi there...well I had my 36 week appt on Monday...not much was said or done.  She did the measuring, performed the the Strep B test, that was exciting (not), and the checked my cervix...no dialation!!  He wants to bake a bit longer I guess.  His heartbeat was excellent, and he is very happy in there, I can tell by all the joyful flips that he does!!  My blood pressure was good, and everything is going great....

However, I am so ready...trying everything...I had sex twice with my husband (thats a good thing...my boyfriend wasn't around!!..hah) yesterday, been eating pinapple like crazy, drinking 3 cups of Red Rasp. Leaf tea a day, even inserted a Prim Rose Oil tablet up my whoowhoo last night..

About the only thing that is happening is I have a lot of discharge, especially at night...really snotty, thick kind, sweaty, and my husband said that I felt extremely different during the 2 sex sessions yesterday vs the day before...he said it felt like something was grapping him!!  Maybe!!  

Other than that, just the same ol' same ol'..hips hurt, back hurts, feet hurt...some swelling by the end of the day...can't sleep, tired...blah, blah!  All that joyous stuff....

I have been 1+ cm and 80% effaced for about a week now. I had a doctors appt yesterday and they did not want to do an internal incase things were progressing down there..they didnt want to cause any more progression, so I wont get checked til the 16th, my next OB appt. We have an u/s for measurements this thursday which I am excited for!
Other than that...ive been resting. Being on bedrest *****...but I just need to keep her in there for a week and a 1/2 more and then they said they would let me labor if I started and my water broke.
SO, I am just waiting around.....hoping to have her soon..but not too soon!

I am pretty much ready for her to come out.  I haven't been online much lately due to the carpal tunnel being so bad.  I completely lost feeling in three of my fingers on my right hand and my hands are also almost always asleep.  No matter what I do, nothing helps.  I just hope she comes soon because I don't know how much more of this I can take.

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and everything seems to be going well.  I was told from my last appointment that I was going to have the B strep test done this appointment but now she's going to do it for the next one.  My next appointment seems far away on the 20th and I'm due on the 7th.  Ah well.  Have our hospital tour booked for the 21st so that should be interesting!  She's moving around a lot and the doctor said she's about 4 - 4 1/2 pounds.  I actually don't look that big for 35 weeks so hopefully she'll have enough room in there.

I've been getting a lot of discharge too, so I know my body is getting ready.  Haven't had any BH's contractions yet (unless I am but not feeling them).

Well lets see.....

i had an appt on 12/31 and put on 4 lbs. They said everything looks good so far and that i am measuring right on point. My next appt is 1/13 and this is the internal exam and step b test. Also the doctor is hoping to gage to see if Logan is in position and to give me an idea of his weight. During the appointment on 12/31 the doctor stated Logan was probably around 4-5 lbs.

I think my mucus plug is getting ready to come out. I too have been noticing some ick when i wipe lol so i think my body is getting ready.

It kills to move. I am tired all of the time. And Logan spends 80% of the night kickin me to death. But at least i know he is there. I know with only 5ish weeks left its just a matter of time.

This weekend i have Leighanne143's baby shower as we are very close friends. Mine is the following week 1/18. Its been amazing to have her pregnant with me.

Mine was NASTY!  Not sure if your into hearing all the info...

It was yellow, clear like.  Stringy with streaks of blood and pink in color...just weird!  Texture was like snot (sorry)...this is what I experienced with my son...When it came out and I called L&D, they told me to wait until I have contractions then to come in because I was already over 38 weeks...well, I happened to go into labor that day and had my son lunch time the nexy day :)  I'm waiting for my mucus plug to come out for this baby.  I've had hints hear and there that it's about to (just yellow CM when I wipefor the past couple weeks)

Well I went to the bathroom and when I wiped I noticed pinkish brown on the TP...I peeked in the toilet and saw a dime sized clumb of what appeared to be part of my plug. It was covered in pinkish color (prolly from the internal I had that day at the doctors). The rest of the night I had mucous in my underwear and on the TP everytime I wiped. Not a lot but it was there. Still has a brownish tinge to it too. Has an odor as well.
So I think I'm loosing it in pieces because it wasn't that big..so I think I lost part of it last night and will continue to loose the rest over the next week or so.

God I am a sweaty mess too! I wake up in a pool of sweat every morning! Ick!

Well I am counting down the days still.  I was in bed all last night after work because I was having increased cramping and BH (or real contractions, not really sure at this point).  I am also leaking a lot more, no fluid gushing out, but just little bits here and there.  I am going to bring it up to the doctor next week.  It does have an odor to it but I can't say if it is amniotic fluid ornot.  The past few days my hot flashes have intensified and getting almost embarassing!  At work today I was with a new client and couldn't stop dripping in sweat.  I apologized saying I'm just a horomonal pregnant women.  He laughed telling me everyone told him how cold it was..I just said, well not me.

What was it like losing your plug?  Color, texture, etc?  Just trying to prepare myself :)
