Any advice

Yesterday me and my husband went to the L&D after I got off of work. Because I was concerened about when I went to the bathroom I had fresh blood in the toliet and I had cramps in my lower back. Where they have been all along. I called up there and they didnt seem to be concerned but I was so when we went up there they tried to send me away but they decided to put me in a room and moniter me after an hour the nurse came in and said something was going on and they got more interested with me. And I had jumped from nothing to being 2 minutes apart then they went to 1 1/2 minutes. So they called the doctor on call and they looked at my records and said I was 3 weeks early but I was 37 weeks according to my doctor but they couldnt get a hold so they decided to stop em. It took them 3 trys on it. And finally they said they stopped them but I could still feel them but they sent me home. And now I have been having contractions at 10 minutes for and hour. And doesnt know what I should decide to do. Anyone have a clue on this???

Hope things move along a little faster for you. U know my friend was dialted to 4cm and they send her home and told her to come back when contraction got closer togther. i dont understand whey dont they just induce she is already at 4. Hopefully things will move along faster for you. Try to take it easy and relax, i know its easier said than done. Good Luck

It sounds like you are in the early stages of labor. But unfortunately, they dont usually like you to admit to the hospital until your contractions are 5 minutes or less apart. I guess this is because the first stages of labor could take hours and hours and nothing major really happens until you are at that point.
You can call your doctor or the after hours number and see what they say, but I'm sure they'll tell you to wait until they get closer together and stronger. I mean nothing can stop you from going back to the hospital but it might just end up being more of a pain if they send you home again.
If I were you, I would drink a couple glasses of water and lay down. See if the contractions subside...if they don't and get worse, either call the doctor or just head to the hospital. If they do get better, just try and wait it out. Contractions are normal at this point and sometimes we just have to deal with it..as much as that stinks!

I wish you the best of luck!
