Birth Announcements

Hi all.  Let"s put up our birth announcements here.

I'll start.

Baby Girl Michaela Gabrielle Min Geng.
Born 24 Jan 2009, 5:26 pm at 38 weeks & 1 day (original due 6th Feb 09).
7lb 2oz, 52 cm long, 33cm head.
25 hr from water breaking to delivery, they used pitocin when labor failed to progress
mother and baby fine.

Myra arrive on her due date :)

She was 7 pounds 13 ounces and 20 inches long.
Her head circum. was 35cm and chest was 34cm...

I was in labor for 13 hours.  Got to the hospital at 7:30pm, got sent 1/2 way home at 9:30 or 10 pm and made it to 6cm at 2am and had her almost in the tiolet at 4:16am.  No pushing nessesary...but I tore horribly!!!!!

I was just thinking that when I had Myra.  Having all these doctors telling everyone something different...honestly, I think when we were asleep, God switched our babies. LOL  I was just THANKFUL she wasn't as big as they predicted because I hurt myself really bad.

It's so funny...I'm reading all posts from you ladies where your doctor predicted your babies to be 9 or 10 pounds and than they came out average...and all my doctors and U/S's predicted Caiden to be average and he was over 9 pounds! I think thats too funny! I think Hope2oneday & I had the biggest babies! Fay the smallest baby :) Their all soo freakin cute! Congrats to us all! We finally have our babies!

Zechariah Elio Gomez born January 28th 2009
weighing in at 6lbs 14oz and was 19.75 in long head cirr of 33cm
I was 38w5d and went into labor but then had to have pitocin after contractions stopped labor was an amazing 24+ hours with the help of an epidural for the last 2 hrs. and I didn't even have to push, the contractions pushed him out once I finally dilated to 10cm. It is a funny story I will post later when I have more that a few min on here at a time...

Annabelle Grace was born on 2/07/09 at 8:44. She weighed 7 lbs 14 oz, 19.5 inches long. She is so beautiful!!!! I really wanted to deliver naturally, but as my water broke before I went into labor, and I tested GBS positive, they had to induce me. I labored for 10 hours on Pitocin, in the worst pain I can possibly imagine, and finally asked (or screamed, rather) for an epidural for the last four hours. The epidural was WONDERFUL....I was able to really enjoy the actual delivery, felt no pain at all. I'd still like to try natural with the next one, but don't regret the epidural decision at all.

We had a few minor complications...I had a high fever at delivery, which caused her to have one as well, and her bloodwork was suspicious, so they gave her a spinal tap to make sure it was clear for GBS. It was SO hard to see them do all the painful tests and bloodwork and IVs to my little baby...it was just wonderful getting her home, and I am so glad she is healthy.

I love my little sweetheart!! I was kinda worried about postpartum depression, and whether or not I would love her....but I just absolutely adore her, more than I ever could have imagined. I was determined to breastfeed....it was difficult at first, and we still struggle with it occasionally, but it is getting better.

Caiden James Pellegrino was born on 2/10/09 at exactly 12:00 midnight weighing in at 9 pounds 4 ounces! 22 inches long and he is absolutely perfect!
I delivered vaginally and naturally with no pain medication at all. I was in labor for 17 hours, it was tough but somehow I got through it! Will be posting my birth story shortly!

Brooke Kaylynn Borowiec was born on Feb. 11th @ 6:53 p.m. (with induction)  She weighed 8 pounds 10 oz and is 20 inches long.  Had a very hard and long labor!! Will update soon on her birth story!  Hope everyone else is doing well :)

Logan Patrick Sacco was born 2/12/2009 at 5:42am. He was a natural birth with a little help from an epidural and only 7 hours of labor total. My labor and delivery story will be up shortly as well as pics

sorry to finsih  off my pist from  before ( computer crashed in the middle of it)
  it was almost a c section but inthe  end things  worked out and went  quickly she  was delivered after only  four  pushes  at 439 on the  11.  i will write my labor and  delivery  story when i get a chance all i can  say is my lil  spec gave us run for ourmoney

Sophia was born via c-section at 8:27am on 2/2/09. She was 8lbs 8oz (thank goodness, not 10lbs as predicted!) and 20 inches.  The surgery went well and I am feeling so much better this past week.  I was 40 weeks when I she was born.

Having my daughter be born on my birthday was truely more than I ever expected!  Its funny, when I go to fill out paper work for her and I have to enter her birth date, I catch myself putting in the year I was born instead of 2009 for her!  LOL

Mckenna Madison Taylor born Feb 11 2009 @ 439 pm
wieghinn in at surprising  ( to usany way ) 7lbs 1 oz (  i never them grew that small)
19 3-/4  in

i was induced at 37w 5d due to  high bp and other medically issues  caused by my pregnancy. induction started on the 10 at 1 pm and went all through the night and almost ended in  c section.

I'm just glad to hear that the both of you are safe!  I'd be freaking out too if I was told I needed a emergency c-section!!

I was 38w2d.....induced....ended with a c-section after non progressive labor!

Just like Atlantis and Fay, I was 37w 6d...must be a growing trend!

Alexander & Ethan
December 30th at 8:22am & 8:23am (water broke at 5:35am, had c-section)
Both weighed 5 pounds 15 ounces
Alex was 19 inches and Ethan was 18.5 inches
Sorry I don't remember their head circumference

Alex and mommy came home on Jan 2nd and Ethan came home Jan12th

Wow, another big girl and she wasn't even full term!! Congrats she is soo cute!

And Fay, you had a tiny little guy! He is adorable too though! I love hearing all these birth announcements!! We're all almost there!!

Adam Ali was born on Monday Jan 27th,2009 at 5:02 after 13 hours of labor and 2 hours of pushing!
I was 37weeks 6days
he was 5lbs 14 oz and 20in long..

CONGRATSS to alll.....can't wait for the rest to have their little once!

I was worried for you for awhile there...I didn't hear anything~then one day you came on really quick and I was RELIEVED :)  So happy to hear the both of you are wonderful...

Baby Lucy Rebecca was born on the 21st Jan by induction!

According to the doctors I was 37w6d and she arrived at 2.05pm after 5 mins pushing!

Lucy weighed in at 8pound 7ounces or 3.816kg and was 52cm long with a head circumference of 36cm...

She came out head first but with an arm wrapped around her neck. Ouch! Could definitely feel the difference there..

Labour started at 7.30am with my water being broken and finished after 6hrs and 35 mins.

Sorry I took so long to update. She has been keeping me busy!   :)
