What could this be??
I got a question. It is somewhat of a little conceren. I have mirena IUD for probably 5 months now. And have my period monthly every since. But this month i am 5 days late. And no symptoms of it either. Me and my husband has been haveing sex. But was just windering if anyone had and input on this...
Im sorry Brandi. I took a test yesterday and it came back negative. But still havent had any sign of my period yet. It has been a full week too. Im trying to get a hold of my doctor to find out how much it costs to be taken out now. Me and my husband decided that Kinlee needs a playmate now hopefully.
I ended up losing the baby =( I bled for 3 days, very heavy, had an U/S done and nothing was there! I didn't have a period (did bleed when Mirena was placed for 5 weeks straight) but had this since April 14th, 2009. Found out I was pregnant a week ago, but my levels were so low! I had an appointment for tomorrow, obviously canceled now.
They said my IUD is in place, so they left it in. I can't believe this happened to me, scared to death it would happen again.
I know my doctor told me to test whenever something doesn't seem right. Also, irregular bleeding is normal for the first 6 months.

Thanks Lance06. I have talked to some friends and my husband and they said wait a month then test. But how good is it to wait a month and test cause they say that if u have mirena and u think that u might be pregnant that u need to get it taking out... But thanks again for ure input Lance06
Its funny this is posted because Momofthreecrazykids (well, now 4) also has the Mirena IUD and she ended up getting pregnant. I havent heard from her in the last couple of days as I know the blood test she had came up with a low level and they arent sure if its chemical or not...but it def can happen! Test....
Also, I know that eventually yoru periods can go away wtiht he mirena...so it could be either.
