Miscarriage? Passing Tissue??
Ladies...I need your input/advice.....I gave birth 5+ weeks ago via csection. After 3 weeks, DH and I had sex..even though I should have waited. Anyways, the next day I had twinges...weird feelings...and I told DH about it....thinking it was weird..but I passed it off as nothing. Well, today I am in the kitchen and I feel a small gush....when I went to wipe I had brown blood and this clotty looking thing......tissue..in the shape of a kidney bean sort of....almost looking like it has a little tail too.....is it possible I miscarried??? I called the doctor and they told me to keep it in rubbing alcohol til tomorrow when I come in for my post op appointment from delivery, and they are going to send it out. Nurse told me it sounds to me like an early miscarriage.....anyone had this happen. The tissues mass? was red in color.....

Okay Girls...it was leftover placenta....not that that is good..but thank god it wasnt anything else that I was worried about!!! U/s showed that there was no more in there...so no surgery required to remove anything!
They bumped the u/s up to tomorrow to check for anything else in there..so I will let you girls know how that goes!
sounds like what happened to me after my 2nd d and c. after i was done bleeding i randonly got this major cramp and gished blood and a clot but what my doctor said it was my uterus collapsing back down and expelling anything that was left in there.

Well Ladies...just got back from the docs.....she thinks its leftover placental tissue..but isnt 100% sure...they are sending it out to find out if its anything more.....I also have to have an u/s in 2 weeks to make sure there isnt anymore if thats what it is...so, have to wait for the lab to get back and let me know what it is...probably wont be til next week!
p.s.....no, we didnt use any protection when we had sex..just pull out...which I know is not a form of birth control....

iv had 3 m/c befor i had lilly and mine passed like that, looked like a blood clot sorta kidney been shaped, you are very fertile after you have a baby!! if the drs sending it off they will be able to tell you!
did you use any comdoms or anything when you had sex?
it may just be left over blood from pregnancy!
