hello there happy birthday! just wanted to let you know the names i had picked for a girl would have been Molly and Alfie for a boy, what names have you picked?
I love the name Molly! (husband won't consider it)
So far I've got - Bailey, Zachery, Lee, or Sam for a boy
and
for a girl - Bonny, Naomi or Mia...
What do you think?
for a girl it will be Josephine Alona but the other two favs were Jocelyn Anastacia, or Lorelei Rose
For a boy it will be Giovanni David the other two favs were Gabriel Michael or Daniel Stephen
i love the name Molly as well and Mia is a sweet one too
i alwways seem to have an easier time with girl names then boy names...
i have picked names that me and the soon to be hubby choose
Jameson for a boy and Mckenna for a girl
If it's a girl...Elora Dannin Jacob. Elora Dannin is the baby that is goin to save the world in the movie "Willow" I love the name Elora and my husband had a brother who passed away when he was 18 named Danny..but Dannin made it a little more femine and Dana is too common. We actually picked this out couple yrs ago when we were watching the movie...only two mths into our relationship
If it's a boy...Westin Jerrold Jacob. My husband's name is William his other brother is Waylon and he has a great grandpa named Walter William Waldo Weber...hahaha...so why not another "W" name. Jerrold was my husbands dad that died when my husband was 4yrs old...was goin to be Logan Jerrold Jacob a couple yrs ago after Wolverine from Xmen...I know..very cheesy! But we decided not after seeing to many Logans!
Either way there will be an Alexander or Alexandra in the mix, the other name I love for a girl is Gabrielle Kathryn although my husband has not voted yet and as of right now we have no other boys name chosen as we are more or less going to wait unilt the next ultrasound for serious name discussion but since I don't have much else to do... =-)
The names that I chose are either Leon or Leonora.
Well, it seems we all have been busy thinking up our names!
(even though we aren't far along)
Makes me wonder how people get to the point where they have given birth and still haven't named their baby!
(My neighbour had a little girl on the 6th August and she still hasn't a name!)
It will be interesting to keep this post going, and see how many of us (or how many times) we change our minds!!
If we have a girl her name will be Abrianna Asyaa Gordon ( nickname Bree)
If we have a boy we are torn between Aaron, Micheal and Nathan
This is My 3rd pregnancy. I have 2 boys, the oldest is Solomon, and the youngest is Adam. If i have another boy i like the names Noha and Ryan. for Girls i like Sabine, Rainna.
If we have a girl we are naming her McKayla Joanne (Joanne after my late grandmother).
If we have a boy, we are still deciding (I'm white and my husband is hispanic so we want to incorporate something in between), but we have it narrowed down to either Deigo Jesus or Elijah Jesus (Jesus is hubby's name). I'm sure if we hear another boys name we like then we will add it to the mix, but for now I'm not stressing about it until we know the sex.
We are waiting to find out the sex to seriously start considering any names. but as of now we have pretty much none that we like. like, zero. oh well im pretty sure we'll get more into it when we know for sure what we're having
i like the name okley and brighten for a girl hubbie hates both, but we like jaycee
and well a boy lets just hope we don't have one we are at a true lack of boy names we named our first son at the hospitable boy names are hard for us although we love our boy and would love another,, he just won't have a name ha ha ha
We're having a boy as you all know! Caiden James! :)
Girls, I like Alexandra.....hubby likes Hailey and Emily
Boy, I like Austin, hubby's mind is set that we are having a girl, so he hasnt really thought about boy names yet...lol
Hope to find out what the sex is on the 27th (if baby cooperates).
Boy's names: I love the name Wade, but dh didn't like it. Wade Thomas or Daniel Wade were my top choices.
We finally decided on Evan James.
Evans was my mother's maiden name, so we're using that and taking the "s" off. James is my dh's grandfather's middle name.
As for a girl, we're using the name I picked out before I ever met dh. Lily Anna. (not calling her by both names...Lily is the first name, Anna is the middle name, although I think it sounds nice either way. I'm just afraid that people will call her Lily AHNA (making it rhyme with Donna) instead of ANNA (as in the word banana).
we like lilly for a girl and alfie for a boy
Hope you don't mind me joining in because they haven't done this in the January forum yet.
I am really struggling to get hubby to agree to anything that hasn't already been used a million times before. I don't want our babies to have ridiculous names but I want them to be the only one in their class with that name because I have four sophies in one of my classes at school and I'm sure I got them mixed up in their reports :((
Anyway I wanted Luca but everyone always says there is some song about child abuse with the name Luca in it.
When I thought they were girls I wanted Krista and Korah but everyone HATES Krista :((
I finally got hubby to agree to Estelle but I don't know if i'm having a girl yet. I know one is a boy and so far we had Oskar and Alfie but in the UK Alfie is in the top ten names so there will be tonnes of them as is Archie....I find this really hard.
Here are some boys names that hubby has rejected on account of them being 'too trendy' whatever that means
Kalen
Elias
Herbie
Asher
Kofi
Cody
Travis
Corben
Hey Ladies...
we have our names set, now its just a matter of finding out what it is going to be...
Boy - Aidyn Denen
Girl - Kindyl Ellé
i made the middle names from our parents middle names. Denen is from DENnis and stephEN. and Ellé is from ELLEn and michELLE but were going to pronouce it Ella.
we so impatient!! im tired of waiting, and ive still got like 3 to 4 weeks before we find out. i was thinking about going early (16 weeks) but i know that unless i go through my Dr. ill have to pay out of pocket and most places are so expensive. i dont pay for them with my Dr. rrrrrrrrr...i wanna know what is in there!!
i forgot to add the other names i like...
i really wanted to name my son Talan but my hubby likes Aidyn better... i love Deagan/Teagan too for a boy, Wyatt
girls names...Addison (hubby didnt like it either) Korbyn, Taryn
i just noticed, all of them end with an N.....i wonder what that says about me
I like Corben and Asher from your list.
I suppose Alfie IS popular in the UK, as you're the third person to post it on this board, and I've not heard of it here in the US as being popular!
Must be the same way Aiden is so popular in the US! :-)
Our hubbies can be the worst when it comes to naming our kids. Honestly, I think that the woman should have the last say when it comes to the name. After all, we've EARNED that right by the time we carry the thing and then go through the pain of giving birth. Not to mention our bodies will never be the same and we have to lose all the baby weight afterward. Men...they have no idea do they? LOL
i know what you mean, Aidyn is the only name he would agree to for a boy, i had choosen it but then started saying other ones because it is really popular but he has said no to every other boy name.
the same with Kindyl, luckly its not as popular, you dont hear it too much so it works. they are so stubborn and hard headed.
Our favorites are (in order)
Boy - Keygan, Ronan, Tyler
Girl - Victoria, Teigan, Olivia
We're pretty stuck on our first choices, and have the backups just in case we see our little one and decide that the name doesn't suit the face.
I love Tyler but all of the Tylers I teach are naughty so I daren't use it.
I'm sure I read on here months ago that you can convince hubby by saying the name to him everyday so he gets use to it because I think it's just the unfamilar they don't like.
It's worked for Estelle and now I'm working on Kalen.
If we have two boys I will say we get to choose a name each and that way I can win :))
