help?? HGC not increasing enough!

I had a hgc blood test (that's the hormone in your blood or urine that tells you if you are expecting) One on Friday and that number was 802 and then another on Monday and that number was 806. I understand that I am still expecting or it wouldn't have gone up at all. But has any one ever heard of numbers going up so slowly? Has any one heard of some one having a baby after something like this. I am scared!

Thanks Kelly.  Well, I was a late bloomer, maybe it was late implantation!  I really hope so.  I've become slightly obsessed with taking HPT's.  I took one last night and it wasn't any darker, and then again this morning.  I think it was darker this morning.  I always look forward to Fridays, but this one really can't come soon enough.

You could have had a late implanter. :) Your number is on target. The next blood test will be able to set your mind at ease...  I am confident it will be just fine.  Keep us posted..

Now go relax and eat some ice cream. Always makes me feel better.

(((((hugs))))))

I've only had one blood test so far, it was yesterday (9 days after day-5 transfer) and my number was only 65.  Dr. said it was ok, that anything over 50 is ok, but from everything I'm reading, it seems really low.  I go back Friday, but until then I'm on pins and needles.  Any idea if I'm really in danger of mc because the number is so low?

Quinns momma is right...it could be that there was an error (it happened to me once), but if it doesn't double on the next test, it is not a good sign.

I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers!

The numbers should double every 48 hours. Is your doctor going to do another blood test? Your Monday reading should have been closer to 2000. If it fails to continue to climb I am so sorry but it indicates the pregnancy is not viable and miscarriage occurs.
Is it possible the lab made an  error. That is not too common but it does happen.
