Ultrasound

Hey Girls,
I have a question, Do you think that the ultrasound tech would tell me if he seen more than one baby or sac in the ultrasound, or would he just pass it on in his report. I know they are not supposed to say much.
I have attatched a couple pics, tell me what you think. Do you see what I see? Or are my eyes playing some silly tricks on me.

Hi Taryn,
Thank you for taking a look. I was constantly looking at the pic trying to figure it out, LOL.
That actually makes sense, now that I think about it, if he seen more than one he likely would have said if there was more.

Thanks again :)

Hey there!  I'm "the u/s tech", lol, Taryn.

From that picture, I can say that there's only 1 sac, and 1 baby.  The fact that your tech even showed you your lil one AND told you that it was viable.. definately leads me to believe that you would know if there was more than 1 baby.  Typically, unless otherwise stated.. there's only 1 baby.  If they "surprisingly" found twins on you, the radiologist (or another doctor) would probably have come in and told you (if the tech didn't say it to you directly!)  The "formal" report will go to your doctor.

Niki_beth is right.. that it does depend on the tech and where they work as well.

Hope all of this helps.. and congratulations on your healthy baby!

Thanks.
The tech I have is really quiet and doesnt say much, I guess they arn't allowed to say anything. He did tell me that the preg was viable and showed me the bean, I think it was just because I was in a panic.

Sorry, I'm really not good at reading u/s... hmmmmmm... I think that there is a u/s tech that posts in this forum though, she can probably give you a better answer.
From my experience the techs have always told me exactly what they see, but I guess that could depend on the tech and the office they work in as well.
