Anyone leaking Amniotic fluid?

I was told that the fluid in Baby A's sac is getting low and the doctors think that I may be leaking Amniotic Fluid. I haven't noticed any more discharge than normal though. So if I was leaking, would I know? Is anyone else leaking Amniotic fluid?

I've always wondered the same thing. Would I know?  So many things to worry about!  So far fluid is ok for me but I always worry if I would even know if I was leaking.

I hope that it isn't a leak and babies are doing great!

I wouldn't have a clue either.  My waters have only broken with the three pregnancies.  If there was a small leak then you could only assume it may not me noticeable or you may view it as sweat???  Could that be it?????

Apparently they can add fluid if it's leaking so that baby can stay in and cook longer too. It's amazing what they can do!

If it helps, my midwife told me that amniotic fluid smells kind of like semen, so it's completely different from your usual feminine smell.

sounds odd, but if you think you are leaking, have a quick sniff.

Thanks ladies!! I have been having a bit more discharge lately so maybe that could be the fluid. And I did notice it had a different smell than im used to. My doctor didnt say anything about adding more but if it got too low they were going to do the c-section. I have read that by drinking lots of fluid it can replenish the fluid a bit. So I have been drinking water like a fish!
