Incontinence?

Hi...this is kind of gross but here it goes..... I have been feeling really wet  down there and I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing similar symptoms.  I have been spotting due to my SCH but I also seem to have more liquid down there.  SOmetimes it smells like urine but other times it has no smell.  Is this just incontinence, cervical mucus or could I be leaking amniotic fluid?  I've called my midwife but I'm still waiting for a response.

My allergies were acting up two weeks ago and I sneezed so hard I ran to the bathroom. Let's just say I needed a new pair of panties... And those kegel exercises don't seem to make it better :/ now when we use the phrase "that was so funny I think I peed myself a little" we won't be joking ;)

GBen if you are worried that it is amniotic fluid insist that they see you and check. We have to listen to our bodies, drs and midwives aren't always right. I pray that they are right in this case and it's not amnio fluid but if you are worried go in and have them check, at least then you will feel better.

OMG!! IM NOT THE ONLY ONE!! YAYY!! lol... i was just going to post this last week and then had to log off and forgot to do it... I work at a daycare center and i get very few bathroom breaks... (because of ratio issues i have to have someone else in the room when i leave so the other teacher isnt left with more than shes allowed) anyways.. i usually only go 3 times a day usually after snack and lunch... and find myself peeing a little on my pants when ever i need to pick up a child or bend down, and mostly when they make me laugh... lol... so i have resorted to panty liners and i change them everytime i go pee... which is kind of sad but its the only way to keep me dry most of the time...

Well, isn't incontinence one of the many great symptoms of pregnancy? I spoke with my midwife and she said it was probably CM and urine (TMI) but....if it smells like semen then it is amniotic fluid (just in case you wanted to know what to look/smell for).  I'm keeping a close eye on it just because I'm at risk for preterm labour.
Thanks for the comments!

I also have an increase of CM but my doctor told me it was normal. Oh and I totally agree with the full bladder - if I sneeze with a full bladder I pee my pants a little! I know, gross, but I cant help it. So I make sure to use the restroom right as I get the feeling like I have to go. That way I save myself the embarrasment.

I wouldnt worry about anything going on down there unless it is unexplainable bright red blood. Glad to hear i'm not the only one with the incontinence problem :)

If it is sweet smelling it's apparently amnio fluid otherwise it's probably CM and or urine. When I sneeze I have to try hard not to pee myself which is totally normal at this point in pregnancy. Same with laughing. Also some days we will have more CM than others and it's common to have to wear a panty liner and have to change it at least once a day from CM. I know some people have had so much CM it leaves a wet spot on their pants or some who have had to cut CM out of their pubic hair (tmi but yes my cousin told me she had to do that).

I hope this helps. Let us know. Apparently the drs should have test strips so they can tell if it's amnio fluid maybe they will have you go in to double check.
