Hemorroids anyone?

Oh my gosh... I've been so careful, eaten plenty of fiber, done everything in my power not to "strain" when going to the bathroom and now I have hemorrhoids... at least I think I do. I see my OB today so I'll talk to her but wondering if any of you have encountered it, how you treated it, what I have to look forward to, etc. The good thing is it doesn't hurt... not yet anyway. Just want to get this taken care of, if possible, now, before delivery.

If it doesn't resolve after delivery you can get steroid injections in them to make them shrink and disappear. Shots in the bumm hole probably not super high on the list of desires but better that than suffer for ever with these little balloons of evil.

Beacause I want to see if they are getting worse lol.  I spoke to my doctor about it and she said there is nothing that can be done :(  She said it will subside when baby is born which is great to hear.  She said it is caused by all the pressure down there and said to just push them back in lol, drink lots of water and eats, dried apricots, dates and prunes I think it was.

I agree it is just SO gross!!!!  I NEVER had this problem with my other 2 :(

I never looked until this weekend.  I noticed that when I went to the bathroom, it felt weird to wipe.. like something was stuck there. It didn't hurt, but I could feel it. Started about a week or so ago. Then Sunday night when I was showering, I actually felt something bubble like and decided to look when I got out. Sure enough, I could see it plain as day. I am so glad it doesn't hurt and pray it doesn't start hurting. I am fibered up like nobody's business and try to make sure I stay regular so I don't add to the irritation but starting iron supplements did NOT help.  I'll start the warm baths if it becomes bothersome but OB said as long as I'm not straining and if I stay scheduled for c-section, it should resolve itself on its own. We shall see.  Just so gross to think about.

I forgot to mention I only use baby wipes on my bottom now that are non fragranced so that it doesn't get irritated.  I had to stop using toilet paper because it would leave my bottom sore - sorry if tmi
