I have a list we have have been working on slowly but surely, but now that we are getting closer it feels like I am going to pop before I get done with it all. Which scares me. I am also now in love with the smell of bleach and the sound of scrub brushes.
I don't think I am nesting I think I am running out of time. We to have to have the baby in our room because we only have a 3 bedroom house. I put my other two in the same room and it worked for a little bit but bedtime was becoming a nightmare so we decided to put them in their own rooms again. I really have to repaint them now because my son is in the pink room and my daughter is in the blue room - maybe I will just go neutral lol.
I still need to get a carseat for one of my children which ***** lol. I left my pram in the garage and it got mould on it which peed me right off considering its an 800 pram GRRRRRRR. I also have my sister, her husband and there 10 year old loving with us so that is challenging and stressful but rewarding at times. Agghhh I feel like I am not ready for this baby to come because I have a very LONG list of things to do with no energy to do it :(
im not sure if im nesting or just running out of time to get things done LOL! we finally painted our room and the nursery and did a cleaning sweet, my parents and hubby helped. i painted a little but i was so tired so fast lol. thank goodness i have a fam thats offering to help! or id be **** outta luck i think :P i think i clean in spurts...not necisarrily nesting :) i have stuffed animals in all of her things..bassinet, swing, car seat, jumper lol. and we finally got the reast of the baby stuff we needed shopping last night.. i feel like things are just about completed. now for the baby shower!
I agree trying! Plus Everytime I would start cleaning even just putting away the dishes my husband would say i was nesting. It was getting annoying!
and another thing, anyone else hate the term nesting???? lol I am so not a bird.......
I have been nesting forever lol here and there since the beginning.... I had the majority of his stuff bought by Aug-Sept... His crib is still not together because I am obligated to depend on DH to do it and he is lazy lazy lazy and... I got the Britax infant car seat and the buckle was recalled on it in Nov and I am still waiting for DH to switch them for me... grrr it drives me nuts how nothing can get done unless i do it.... I don't have a nursery cause at this point we only have a three bedroom house and my two sons cant share a room cause my youngest has Autism and it just wouldn't work... so my room is full of baby stuff... lol.... O and I am still waiting for DH to buy a new car... he has this little sports car that only fits 4 people so obviously that has to change (yay) I hate that thing... but now he is only looking at 5 seater cars.... does that make any sense to any one here? do you think it is really logical to buy a 5 seater car with 3 kids (3 car seats/ booster seats) the guy is ridiculous... so ya i have done my share of the nesting and the waiting for him to do his part is really frustrating... :(
I've been actually really good that way. Most of the stuff I got for the baby was used so I started picking things up when I was about 18-20 weeks. The baby's room is a mess but my hubby started painting a mural in there last week. He's doing such an awesome job. Room should be all ready for baby in another week, I can't wait.
My husband started nesting the night before I was induced. It was really cute. I also had a feeling this whole pregnancy that baby was going to come early. I'd say trust your instincts but pray baby stays put for longer
Yes! We moved into a new house 3 weeks ago and have been frantically trying to get down the to do list. It's happening but slowly. Baby room is the priority. Got it painted. new closet is in and tonight I started putting path stuff in the bathroom, food stuff in the kitchen, etc. Everything for baby had been boxed up before now. I feel like I'm making progress but I'm not anywhere close to being done. I have two more weeks of school and two weeks at home before baby, so I'm praying we don't have an early arrival. SO MUCH TO DO!!!
