do the ligament pains move up as your uterus does?

i have really bad pains in the side of my abdomen, only on one side. my uterus is up to my belly button now at 20 weeks...i spose the ligaments move up with the uterus right? or could it be something else?

feels like it hurts when i use the stomach muscles or lift my leg on that side... pain has progressively gotten worse since last night.

My pains were consistently on the right and now that the baby has moved more center I am getting the pains more on the left side. Woke up two nights ago in tears because it hurt so badly and nothing I could do but wait.  Lots of aches and pains...

The on call OB Doc said it sounded like a muscle and that it doesn't sound related to my pregnancy. So I might go to the doc  to be sure on Monday if it stays buggin me!! So many aches and pains in pregnancy. Lol. Man oh man!

It sounds like maybe you have pulled a muscle. I also have had side pain but it seems to be wear baby is kicking me. I'd ask your OB about it. The ligament pain from what I know it around the hips and vaginal area. It is possible that it's muscle stretching or organs being pushed by baby. I wish I could be more help. Try and rest and take it easy. Feel better!
