Admitted for Observation

I had an OB appointment today because when I attended my normal midwife appointment on Monday just gone I didn't trust the midwife that saw me and turns out I was right not to trust her because, not only did she read my BP incorrectly but she totally disregarded other symptoms I told her about. After my appointment today my OB confirmed my BP at 140/100 and sent me for bloods and has admitted me to my hospital for the next 24hrs under observation. She said 1 of 3 scenarios could happen:
1. My BP will stay steady, bloods will come back fine and I'll be given pills and sent home after the observation period.
2. My BP gradually increases and the midwives could decide to induce for vaginal birth.
3. My BP spikes excessively and they could perform Ann emergency cesarean.
Just wondering if anyone went through this and your story.
At the moment I'm sitting in hospital quite bored really just waiting and waiting.

I went through something similar today!
I'm 38 weeks. Went to my normal weekly check up. Doctor checked the baby's heart rate and it was 170-180 bpm. So she did an ultrasound and confirmed the rate. Hooked me up to a monitor, only time it dropped was with contractions And it was only a slight drop. So she sent me over to labor and delivery for prolonged monitoring and my little girl settled down. So they let me go home. Apparently my little girl just doesn't like doctors or she's a morning person lol
