Due the 22nd. Advice please!!

ftm of a little boy who will not budge. Two false alarms and 1 false hospital visit(leaking mucus plug)(tmi sry). I am patiently trying to wait for him while still working but it's been hard. Went to my Dr.appt yesterday, still only dilated 1 cm. It been 3 weeks at 1 cm.I was suppose to get my membranes swept but wasn't dilated enough. I've been reading how to bring on labor, with eating piannaple, baths, sex, nipple stimulation and streching. I've tried all of these,so far no luck. Do you know of any other methods to try if you're not dilating  that can bring on labor. I'm trying to wait but being unable to sleep throughout the night, horrible back and leg pains are making me irritable, along with still going to work!

I've been experiencing prodormal labor since 37+5 I'm also due on the 22nd. Just because you aren't getting symptoms doesn't mean your body isn't preparing to give birth! Be patient ladies. Your time will come

I'm 2 days away and not feeling like my body or baby is ready. Its slightly frustrating.. but when I really think about it, when I use my instincts, and ignore a silly date that was never meant to be exact anyways, I don't feel like I'm ready or like there is any rush. Baby is just fine, she seems to get annoyed with me when I put the weight of my arm or whatever on my belly... she's staying comfy in there. If my unborn infant and ny body knows she needs the nourishment and time then why am I ignoring common sense and instincts. I just see everyone complaining about themselves being uncomfortable, or being in a rush to meet lo. What about them? If you haven't even reached your due date yet than why the urgency?

Right there with you ladies. Due the 24th and TIRED... Only one false alarm (contractions 4 min apart for 3 hours before it fizzled).  Dr appt this morning for 39 week check and I think I will breakdown if she tells me I am still only 1cm (been 1cm for 2 weeks). I am 38 yrs old, 3rd pregnancy, and previous 2 were c-sec, and I begged for VBAC this time. Dr. has told me no induction bc of VBAC so all I can do is wait. I walk a lot, tried eggplant, pineapple, sex, nipple stim.... Nothing has worked. Feeling a bit down today.

I know the exact feeling! My due date is 2 days away but I haven't had any false alarms just yet but I'm still working and trying to keep busy after my last appt of still being 2 cm from the week before and her telling me I may go over a week or so. I did some walking yesterday but most likely not enough to get the process moving
