Week 5 :) ultrasound ?

It's my first pregnancy so this is all new. My obgyn told me they can not see me until I'm 8-10 wks. Anybody else hear this ?

My doctor told me 10 weeks, for the first ultrasound - so I have to wait till mid July. But I also have to get a bunch of blood work done so I guess I'll distract myself till then!

My obgyn told me at my next appt in 4 weeks ill get to hear the heart beat and at 16 weeks ill get an ultrasound. It *****

Yes, true. I had my ultrasound on my 5th week, but because I had miscarriage in April, my doctor wanted to be sure the seed is there. My another ultrasound is on 7th week to see the heartbeat. So it is okay for you :)

My OB office wants patients to come in writhing 2 weeks after a positive HPT, so I had my appointment at 5 weeks. But, my first ultrasound is scheduled for 8 weeks.

Yes the baby will be bigger at 8 weeks for a better ultrasound with heartbeat. This time hubs can't make it so I am hoping to take a video on my phone.

I'm due for an ultrasound and check at 6 weeks. June 25. I'm four weeks now.

My first pregnancy too. My OB told me 10-12 weeks would be my first visit which will include the ultrasound. So far away! I don't mind not having an ultrasound earlier, but I was hoping for other advice and to check my iron since I've struggled with my iron levels for over 10 years.

My first OB appointment will be the end of July which will be right about the time were ready to tell parents and really announce. Crazy though. My friend is 7 weeks ahead of me and she got an ultrasound around 7 weeks I think but she had twins last time so they probably wanted to check for that.

It depends on your ob. Generally they won't see you until you're 10 weeks because most unpreventable miscarriages happen before that point. I know that's morbid but it's the truth. :/

Yes they told me the samething. I'm five weeks too and I have to wait till I'm 8 to 9 weeks.

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and my first appointment is next week on the 18th.

I had my first ultrasound at 5 weeks 5 days but it was because I just had a miscarriage in march I'm still a nervous wreck next ultrasound at 10 weeks July 6 I wish it was a way I could ck every day until I was in the safe zone I know that sounds silly but I'm so nervous

I found out I'm about four/five weeks they will not see me until July 15 until I'm 10 weeks and I'm worrying myself crazy! I wish I could know how the little poppy seed is doing
