CJ's 5 Month Update!!!

First...I can not believe he is 5 months old :(.....He's getting too big, too fast.

His latest accomplishments include...learning to roll belly-2-back and back-2-belly so he rolls all over the place, he can now stead(ily) hold his own bottle, but usually gets lazy after a minute, he said 'da-da' for this first time on June 23rd, his motor skills are getting better (he is able to hold his teethers, but he's still awkward in the sense), and he is finally sleeping a little longer through the nights!

He totally skipped any 3-6 months clothes and is now in 6-9 months sizes. He is a little monster :)

However, we do have one little problem...he absolutley HATES bath time. The second his body hits the water, he is screaming!!! Not even crying, just screaming like I've just inflicted the worst possible pain upon him :( I don't make the water hot so I know thats not the issue b/c he does the same think when we try to put him in the pool...Any ideas/suggestions?

Hope all the other babies are doing well and that all you other Mommies are making it through w/o loosing too much of your sanity :)

Jaxson will be 6 months July 16th. He can sit up on his own for short stints, he absolutely LOVES bath time, but LOATHES getting dressed after. I swear, he wishes to be naked 24-7!

He can roll from belly to back, and has been able to do so since about 3-3.5 months, no progress there.. BUT he seems to be getting more verbal and MUCH louder, he now SCREAMS, I think he just likes the sound of his voice. Oh, and he has also realized that he can get my attention very quickly by coughing.. He is a little fake-coughing machine. Its sort-of funny, but I am kind of like "Geez, he is learning already how to manipulate me?" Wow... =)

I see a few women from our January '09 forum are expecting again!!!?? Wow, Congratulations and Good luck! =)

CJ seems like such bright young man and definitely ahead of the curve!

Anna is rolling in every direction since 4 months, mostly towards sharp furniture corners  :(  She is also trying to crawl, like a caterpillar.  She can almost sit by herself but only for a few seconds these days.  She does not have a jumpe but she loves her exersaucer.  Like Sophia she loved bath from day 1.  Perhaps it's a girl thing?  :)  She sleeps through the night really well but takes barely any naps during the day, just a few very short once.  Also, Anna has every sign of teething but no teeth yet.  Ugh!!

Time is flying by! Sophia will be 5 months on this Thursday.  No rolling over yet but she loves LOVES her jumper! She, too, is in 6-9 month clothes.  I guess it will be 12 month size clothes in the fall!?!?!?!?

Sophia is still sleeping through the night, thank goodness!  Lots of babble talk, which I can never ever get enough of!

As for the bath, Sophia liked it from day one.  I do sing to her and read her books while she in the tub or rather yet, while she will let me.  Most of the time she is just too busy splashing and kicking her legs.  i would check out baby center as they might have some useful advice.  Good luck!
